Hello & Happy Friday!

Today I am popping in first with a reminder card that there is still time to join in on the current Uniko Challenge. Though my card ties into my next blog post shortly with the next of the Sept/Oct 2021 Release product introductions 😉

Here’s what I was inspired to make…

I opted for some beautiful warm autumnal colours for my card and using a kraft card base really helps to radiate the warmth. I couldn’t resist using our new Stencil – Flower Power #1 which we are introducing on the blog today.

`It’s fun having these large scale modern flowers and they really do make for a quick card with impact. I used Distress Oxide inks as I think they keep their colour lovely on kraft and coloured card stock. The colours of the flower are Fossilised Amber, Spiced Marmalade and Vintage Photo.

The sentiment I have chosen is from Floral Vines and embossed in white onto a block of brown card. I added a strip of the same colour down the edge of my stencilled mat layer too. I think this adds a little more interest to the overall design.
