25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020 Day 7

Welcome to Day 7 of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020!

Uniko is super excited again to be a part of this wonderful festive event organised by Tracey McNeely from In My Creative Opinion. If this is your first year joining in and finding out about the fun you can read all about it HERE.

Hopefully you have hopped on over from the Uniko Blogspot Blog HERE. If not, be sure to pop on over and see all the inspiration from the Uniko Brand Ambassadors joining in on the event.

I made a couple of tags for today & I am sure I will be back to share some more over the coming days too ๐Ÿ˜‰

For my first tag I was inspired to use a non-Christmas Uniko clear stamp paired with the holly & berries from Winter Foliage. I used Background Blocks Wonky Stripes.

This is such a fun and versatile stamp, I’ve used it for so many different occasions and it is easy and fun to colour too. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from Festive Sentiments and my tag shape is the All The Merrys from Concord & 9th.

This week Brand Ambassador Jane shared some Christmas card inspiration HERE using Jolly Christmas, which inspired me to dust off my Jolly Christmas Santa and make a tag!

Another CAS design! This time the HO HO HO sentiment is from Background Builders Christmas 2018. I’ve just inked and stamped just a section of the stamp.

The tag shape is an older die from Papertrey Ink, as is the polka dot ribbon. I think this is the only time of year I currently reach for and use ribbon and twine these days!

I look forward to seeing you join in on the event & if you share your tags on social media using Uniko products, be sure to mention @unikoltd and or hashtag #unikostamps #unikoltd ๐Ÿ™‚

How about an extra Christmas themed GIVEAWAY?! Simply leave a comment on this post by November 30th 2020 and I will randomly select a lucky comment to win a Christmas bundle of Uniko goodies ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a lovely creative weekend.

These are marvelous tag creations โ€“ first I want to thank you for sponsoring the 25 Days of Christmas Tag Hop โ€“ I just love those holly leaves on tag one and who can resist a Santa โ€“ love him on that double tag creation โ€“ which is becoming one of my favorite ways to create a tag โ€“ use 2 tags! TFS have a blessed day!

Congratulations Gail!

Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas!

Happy Thursday.

The serious countdown is on now, with less than two weeks till Christmas Day!

As usual I am still making Christmas cards and added a little more pressure to myself when I committed to sending some to a residential home. I wanted to pay it forward and spread Christmas cheer to those who need it and some who don’t have family and friends.

Today I decided to dust off Jolly Christmas, this Santa puts a smile on my face when I see him, so I am hoping it will be the same for others.

I’ve paired him with the ‘Ho Ho Ho’ background builder from Background Builders Christmas 2018 and a Merry Christmas sentiment from Festive Sentiments.

How are your Christmas preparations and plans coming along? Apart from Christmas cards and the fresh food shop, I think I am just about sorted.

Before I go today, I have one more thing to tell you about…

I hope you will join Uniko on Saturday 14th December at 9am GMT for a Christmas Party with inspiration & prizes!

Warm Crafty Hugs!

Jolly Christmas is Back!!

Hey & Happy Weekend!

I do hope your weekend has got off to a better start than mine!

I think I tired myself out last night painting The Beans room while they slept over at their Grandparents and then when that was done we had 2 BIG boy single beds to assemble. I think we finished up at about 11:30 pm !!

Then today I feel like I have spent the day doing errands, only to find frustrating obstacles everywhere I went. To top the day off I have just discovered a leak from our en-suite toilet and it dripping through the ceiling into the playroom. This calls for some R&R and GIN!

On a positive note, The Beans LOVE their new BIG boy beds and are tucked up fast asleep. My FIL has been round and hopefully fixed the leak too – fingers crossed all stays well overnight!

ANYWAY… enough of all my woes! I am SUPER excited that Jolly Christmas is now back in stock – YAY! He was the only sell out from the October Release and now he is back I am itching to share more using him, like I have on the card…

On Thursday I took a trip out to our local Crafters Companion store with a friend and I was super happy to finally get my hands on some Simply White Gloss Nuvo Drops ๐Ÿ™‚ plus a few other colours! I’d seen Yana Smakula’s card HERE using them as a snowy background and had to give it a go.

JollyChristmasSnow1

I’ve used Prismacolor Pencils to colour my Jolly Santa in and added Stampin’ Up! Glitter to the bobble & brim of his hat, along with the cuffs of his coat. The sentiment is a favourite of mine from Simply Said Christmas. I used the current Freshly Made Sketches layout for my card seen HERE and below.

I had a lovely crafternoon on Thursday making cards to share with all the restocks that arrived in the studio this week. Lots of popular clear stamps are back in store including, Background Builders: Seeing Stars, Birthday Sentiments, I LOVE Coffee, Kindness Blooms and So Much. I will be sharing my cards over the coming days ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for stopping by today!

Re-Introducing… Background Builders: Christmas AND Jolly Christmas

Hey!

Welcome to the first day of the October 2018 Release product introductions.
This is the fun part, you now get to see all the sneak peeks in action. The Design Team have worked their socks off and created an abundance of inspiration to share with you over the coming days ๐Ÿ™‚
Today we are re-introducing Background Builders: Christmas AND Jolly Christmas clear stamp sets. These two clear stamp sets were first introduced WAY back in October 2013 HERE and HERE. You can also find more ‘old’ inspiration using the clear stamps HERE and HERE on Pinterest.

Hopefully you have hopped on over from HERE at the start of the hop. I have shared a couple of new cards there using these 2 re-released clear stamp sets.

I’ve made a couple more cards to hopefully inspire you…

IntroBBChristmas2

Firstly I wanted to pair the snowflake builder stamp with the Designer Dies Snowflake Trio. I tried my hand at some partial die cutting too!

IntroBBChristmas2a

After stamping the snowflake background I added tiny drops of Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard to all the snowflake centres for a little bit of subtle sparkle. The sentiment is a new one from another clear stamp set we will be introducing later this week. The pearls are from Little Things By Lucy’s Crystal Collection – Sweet Pea.

I was having so much fun getting reacquainted with Background Builders: Christmas, that I used it for my second card to share with you today too!

IntroBBChristmas3

Even though I absolutely LOVE snowflakes, I think the 2 step stamp holly in this set trumps the snowflakes! It is beautifully festive and pairs with other Uniko clear stamps, such as this sentiment from All Occasion Sentiments #4.

IntroBBChristmas3a

After a busy few weeks I was feeling a little tired and ‘meh’ so I treated myself to some more Altenew inks and this little ‘Lil Inker Bow Die. It is too darn cute and pairing it with some old Papertrey Ink polka dot paper was the perfect finish to this clean and simple card.

As usual my AWESOME Design Team have created projects to share with you all too. Be sure to hop along, commenting along the way. You never know, I might just pick some random comments to WIN some prizes this release ๐Ÿ˜‰

I hope you enjoyed the hop & will come back tomorrow for the next product introductions!
