Uniko Sponsors TIME OUT Challenge – Spring with Optional Twist

Uniko Sponsors TIME OUT Challenge – Spring with Optional Twist

Hello & Happy Thursday!

I do hope you are having a good week so far? It’s been a mixed week here at Uniko HQ, but with some exciting new products on their way soon all is good!

Anyway, enough with that, Uniko is super duper happy to be sponsoring my very first Design Team challenge, TIME OUT Challenges.

This fortnight the challenge HERE at TIME OUT Challenges is appropriately Spring with an Optional Twist of a One Layer Card. With Spring being so late for many parts of the Northern Hemisphere, there is still plenty of time to send them out!

I decided to use the more recent released Spring Botanicals Daffodil clear stamp set and created this one layer card…

I started by drawing out a rectangle with a pencil and then going over with a black fine liner, to create a frame for my daffodil. This helps create more interest to a flat one layer card. I then masked the outsides of the rectangle to be able to stamp the daffodil.

I’ve then selected 3 Prismacolor Pencils to match the current Color Throwdown challenge seen HERE and below to colour my daffodil. The sentiment is from Spring Botanicals Snowdrop and is stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black ink.

I hope you’re inspired to join in on the challenge & I look forward to seeing you in the gallery too! Be sure to check out all the wonderful TIME OUT Challenge Design Team inspiration over HERE, they have used Uniko stamps too :)

The daffodil is certain synonymous with spring and this is such a beautiful CAS design! Thanks so much for joining us at Color Throwdown!
