Uniko Challenge #46 Colour & Optional Twist Easter

Uniko Challenge #46 Colour & Optional Twist Easter

Hey!

Welcome to the March/April, 2018 Uniko challenge. This month we have a really pretty palette of colours for you to choose from and with Easter looming that’s our optional twist.

As you’ve probably noticed the Uniko DT has grown this year with the addition of four talented ladies onto our Stencil Team. So of course there’s going to be even more DT inspiration to get your creativity flowing and we also have the most wonderful Guest Designer – Michele – joining in with us for this challenge.

Her winning card from the last challenge had us all swooning here at Uniko and if you go take a peek at her blog you’ll discover loads more innovative ideas that are just that little bit different.

Guest Designer – Michele

Isn’t this the most amazingly creative use of Uniko stamps and dies?! Do go visit her blog – HERE – and tell her how gorgeous this is!

Here’s how I decided to use the colours…

Firstly, my apologies to those that attended the Uniko Birthday Stamping Retreat as you have already seen this card! I was hoping to have made something new and an Easter card to share using the challenge colours, but due to the unforeseen happenings of Josh Bean getting the Chicken Pox on Tuesday, my week has got to pot. Yesterday I played catch up. Well, to some degree, as I spent the morning catching up on sleep due to being up all night nursing a sick bean 🙁

Luckily I had this card in my archive to share and amazingly I had used most of the challenge colours! Again I have used Kindness Blooms, still a firm ‘go to’ fave at the moment and there are still a few left in stock since the restock this week! I’ve paired the loopy blooms with a sentiment from Birthday Sentiments, added enamel embellishments and adhered the stamped panel using foam adhesive.

That’s all I have to share with you for today, but the Uniko Design team also have some inspiring card ideas to share, be sure to follow the links to their blogs to find out more and I am sure they’d love a nice comment too 😉

The eagle eyed of you will have noticed that this is only half of the Uniko DT, but never fear the other half will be here with ideas to inspire you on 30th March with the reminder post.

So are you ready to play along?

Super, so springlike. Hope the beans get over the chicken pox soon and aren’t too crabby. 🙂

Hi! Where is the linky tool for this challenge? It is not appearing on the blog post….
Also, are there any challenge rules – I’ve made a card, hoping to enter it! Thanks in advance!
