Uniko Challenge #35

Uniko Challenge #35

Hey!

Welcome to the August Uniko challenge. We have another fun challenge this month to spark your creativity…

Inspired By A Song Title! This sounds like a hard challenge, but when you google a word to see if it appears in a song title, you WILL be surprised as to how many there are!!

You can use any products/stamps to enter the challenge, but we do LOVE to see you use your Uniko products.

Email entries welcome, just email a photo of your card to bev@uniko.co.uk and I will add it to the Uniko Flickr gallery and link up!

This month we have another super Guest Designer joining us this month, Glenda from My Paper Cat.

Glenda was the lucky winner from Challenge #33 and has created this beauty to inspire you…

Isn’t it fabulous, all those delicate stitches. CLICK HERE to see more from Glenda and leave some love :)

Here’s what I came up with…

USC#35

I was inspired by the song ‘Explosion’ by Ellie Goulding. I wanted to do something different and a little unusual as well as dust off a clear stamp set I hadn’t used for a while! So I googled explosion as a song title and that’s what came up!

I decided to use the current Freshly Made Sketches layout again, seen HERE and below. It worked so well for the placement of the explosion image.

I knew I wanted my card to be colourful too with a sparkly explosion, so I reached for my mini distress inks and Clarity Brushes to created an ink blended panel, following the design of the sketch above.

Kinda perfect for the current challenge over at AAA Cards HERE, which is all about blending!

Super blended background, love the colours and how they make a stamp I’ve always thought of as masculine become feminine too. Thanks for linking up with AAA Cards.

This card looks so unusual among other mostly floral cards on your blog, Beverley. Love how you blended these colors!
