THANK YOU so much & Farewell…

THANK YOU so much & Farewell…

Hey!

Happy Weekend to you all.

It’s a sad day here at Uniko, as we are saying THANK YOU and Farewell to another of our Design Team members.

Unfortunately, Sandie has taken the decision to step down from the team 🙁 The team and I are really going to miss Sandie, not only for her creative inspiration with her beautiful cards here on the DT Blog, but also her organisation skills and hard work behind the scenes.

In the short time Sandie has been on the Uniko DT, she has helped me immensely with organising the Uniko Challenges, prepping posts and helping keep the DT up to date.

As a small token of mine and the teams THANKS we have put together a little blog hop to show you how much we have all appreciated you here on the Uniko DT and you will be missed…

I chose to use one of Sandie’s favourite stamps, the Paradise – Hummingbird! I started out by stamping the bird on a white CS layer in VersaMagic Perfect Pertunia, which is a pinky purple colour, rich and vibrant.

I then used my favourite curved die to cut the panel and stamped the ‘thanks’ sentiment also from the Paradise – Hummingbird set. Then all that was needed was a good sprinkling of glitter and then adhered the panel to a white card base.

The layout of my card was inspired by the current CAS(E) this Sketch! layout seen HERE and below. I rotated the sketch counter clockwise to work with the hummingbird being so large.

As I said a few of the team are joining me in wishing you farewell Sandie, so please hop along to their blogs to see their full creations…
