Happy Monday!

Thank YOU so much for making Uniko’s February 2020 and 8th Birthday Release one to remember. All your lovely comments, support AND amazing orders have kept this little business owner buzzing all day.

I needed to make some Thank You cards and had this idea in my head for this trio of cards. So I set about to making them in-between packing orders today.

I love this cascade block style of sentiment stamps that I have seen around different paper crafting companies, so I thought I would recreate my own using Alphabet Outlined.

I used my MISTI stamping tool to position the letters to spell out THANK YOU and then set to stamping!

I decided the card needed a little detail along the side, so I stamped the silhouette foliage from Happy Days. On this card I used The Stamp Market green inks, Leafy, Cactus & Mossy.

I love how this turned out, so this then set me up for my next card with a slight variation.

Having kept my letters in the MISTI, I was able to stamp a batch really quickly! On this card I decided to colour the letters with a black fine liner to create a solid sentiment.

Without changing too many things and using the supplies I had out on my desk, this time I stamped the foliage silhouette in just one of the greens, Cactus.

For my final card I wanted to try out an idea in my head & it is a combination of the first two cards. This time I stamped the letters in Leafy ink first. I then used the re-inker, a tiny bit of water and a fine watercolour brush to colour the letters ink. I didn’t want to use to much water as I wanted the colour to be vibrant like the stamped outline.

I then placed the panel back in my MISTI, but moving it slightly before stamping again in black ink this time. I wanted to create an overlapped look and I just LOVE how this turned out. I can’t wait to try a rainbow version of this card 😉

This time I stamped the foliage along the edge of the card using Mossy ink. I hope I have inspired you today & again THANK YOU!
