Introducing… Uniko Stencils – In The Forest and Let it Snow

Hey!

Welcome to Day 1 of the December 2018 Release product introductions.

This is the fun part where you get to see the sneak peeks I shared yesterday in action on cards & projects. As December is a super busy time for everyone, it is just me doing the product introductions for this release. Though the Uniko DT will be joining me on Release Day for our traditional blog hop 🙂
So I have a couple more cards to share using the 2 new stencils…
IntroDec18Stencils2
For this first card I couldn’t resist using the white stencil medium again! I just love the glossy finish it gives and also the subtle dimension to designs.

I kept the design simple by framing my stencilled panel, adding a little ribbon loop to the edge & a sentiment from the popular Simply Said Blocks Christmas clear stamp set released back in October.
Lastly I have one more card to share using the Let it Snow stencil…

I decided to pair it with another older and popular favourite, BIG & BOLD Snow clear stamps. After inking the stencil with Altenew Ocean Waves & Dusk inks I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the snowflakes & some Simply White Gloss Nuvo Drops, slightly off centre to the dots in the design.

I used my MISTI tool to stamp the large ‘snow’ sentiment in Desert Night ink and then again in VersaMark ink to heat emboss with Stardust EP. Some therapeutic fussy cutting & my favourite 1mm thick foam adhesive to assemble the card 😉
That’s all I have to share today using these new stencils. I do have a card HERE using them, so be sure to check it out! I will be back tomorrow with another product introduction and lots more inspiration.
As it is the season of giving, each day of the introductions I will be randomly selecting one lucky comment from either this blog post, the Uniko website blog post, Facebook or Instagram to receive an eGift Certificate code to the value of £10! So be sure to leave a lovely comment 😉 Winners will be announced on Tuesday 11th December before the release!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hugs

Stamp Of The Week – Label Love: Christmas

Hey!

Welcome back to the NEW feature here at Uniko, Stamp Of The Week. Basically each week I will be choosing a stamp set to dust off & give some inky love to. Though I am open to requests of stamp sets to revisit, so if you have a request either leave a comment or drop me an email. Along with giving the set some love, the featured set is also discounted in store for that week.

This week I am dusting off… Label Love: Christmas

LabelLoveChristmas

As I missed half of the week last week (due to November Release prep) & I will be using last weeks Stamp Of The Week, Label Love: Thank you BOTH clear stamp sets are available at a discount for this week in store HERE & HERE.

Anyway, on to today’s card…

SOTW16

Today I decided on another non traditional colour scheme Christmas card, it was firstly inspired by the new Freshly Made Sketches layout seen HERE and below.

FMS Final 211-001

With the beans nap time getting slightly shorter & needing to create a few cards that I will be sharing HERE tomorrow, I needed a jump start on my creativity and using a sketch really reduces thinking time, giving more creative time!!

I decided to ink up the music label contained in the set, paring it with the Let it Snow sentiment and a snowflake from Stunning Snowflakes embossed in silver & stardust embossing powder.

I added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins, some Papertrey Ink satin ribbon (slowly using my stash!), some mini rhinestones and also edged the label in glitter which is quite hard to see in the photo, but really adds to the sparkle 🙂

Ok, that’s all from me today, I’m super busy in the home studio this week preparing for the upcoming November Release on the 11th November 🙂 Plus I’m Guest Designing for one of my favourite challenges & Uniko is still sponsoring the ongoing TIME OUT Challenge HERE. All this fun starts tomorrow HERE I hope to see you!

Until, tomorrow with my next Stamp Of The Week post, thank you for stopping by today.
