Coffee & Friends

Happy Weekend!

Today I am super excited to share another feature and Uniko FREE Digital Stamp Download Collection in the NEW issue of Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine, which is now on sale.

This FREE collection of digital stamps features a large Block Party style stamp and two sentiment stamps. They can be downloaded from the Simply Cards & Papercraft website HERE.

The photo above shows a variety of ways the digital stamps can be used and in the magazine I share some Top Tips of using digital stamps šŸ˜‰

I thought I would make one more card to share with you here using the main Block Party Coffee stamp and one of the sentiments.

When I saw the current two week sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch! seen HERE and below, I knew it was perfect to use with these digital stamps!

I use Photoshop when using digital stamps and I always create a document the size of the card I am going to make. My standard size card is 10.5 x 14 cm. I started by placing the ‘Sending You a LATTE Birthday Wishes’ sentiment and copying & pasting it to create a fun border style background as seen in the sketch. This was then printed, cut to size and coloured with Copic Markers.

With using Photoshop, digital stamps are easy to scale up or down to suit your need & use of them. Here I have scaled the Block Party Coffee stamp down to a small rectangle. Again I have coloured with Copic Markers, trimmed to size & layered with some black card before adhering to the card base using foam adhesive.

I hope that you download and enjoy using the FREE digital stamps I have designed. If you use them and share your makes on Social Media, be sure to #unikoltd on your post, so that I can find them easy!

To kick this FABulous hop off I’ve created a couple of Winter themed coffee cards to share with you and some of the Uniko Brand Ambassadors have joined me too, with some inspiration.

I have a theme of warm winter wishes for both of my cards today, combining Uniko’s I LOVE Coffee clear stamp set with different Uniko snowflake products.

For this first card I have used the Stencil Let it Snow to create a soft background to highlight the stamped and fussy cut coffee cup. The snowflake embellishment on the coffee cup is from BIG & BOLD Snow and I have added some of my favourite Nuvo Drop accents to the card too!

For my next card I wanted to use the NEW Designer Die Sparkling Snowflake paired with the coffee cup and came up with this design.

I added lots of Clear Wink of Stella to both of the die cut snowflakes and stamped a snowflake pattern onto the coffee cup this time. The sentiment on this card is from Stunning Snowflakes clear stamp set.

That’s all I had time to create for today, but how about a look at what the Uniko Brand Ambassadors have created.

First I have a card to share with you…

NCDhop1

Autumn is in full swing now here in the UK and the colours totally inspired my card today. I chose 5 Altenew ink colour, Espresso, Mocha, Autumn Blaze, Orange and Sun Kissed to ink up the Background Blocks Nautical Stripes stamp. To me this stamp represents a warm cozy sweater!

NCDhop1b

I then stamped some of the images from Uniko’s I LOVE Coffee clear stamp set and arranged them on the card. Having the stamped background block makes for a really quick card šŸ˜‰

I then went in an embellished the coffee cups with the small Uniko flower, stamping them in Altenew Puffy Heart ink. The weather here in the UK is cold and we have snow forecast for Sunday here in the NE (I’ll believe, it when I see it!) and so I thought I would combine my LOVE of snowflakes with the I LOVE Coffee cup!

Uniko2017winterCLBH1b

{Click Photo for a Closer Look}

I started by using a snowflake from Stunning Snowflakes and stamping it on the background in VersaMark Dazzle Frost and also the sentiment is from the same stamp set, stamped in Altenew Pure Graphite ink.

I then stamped the coffee cup from I LOVE Coffee, coloured it with some NEW Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends and then heat embossed the same snowflake in white on top. After fussy cutting the cup out I have mounted it onto a large Designer Die Snowflake cut from some soft gold shimmer card.

Fall2017CLBH1

The weather here in the UK is certainly getting cooler and signs of Autumn (Fall) are appearing with leaves on the floor. I’m not a tea or coffee drinker, but I do like a hot chocolate (cocoa) and sometimes you just need to drink a hot beverage out of a fancy tea cup!

As you can see I was inspired to use the I LOVE Tea clear stamp set, combined with a sentiment and coffee bean trio from I LOVE Coffee and a leaf from Natures Treasures. I was also inspired by this weeks sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch!HERE and seen below…

Stamp Of The Week – I LOVE Coffee

Hey!

Welcome back to the NEW feature here at Uniko, Stamp Of The Week (SOTW).Ā This week I am dusting off…Ā I LOVE Coffee

ILoveCoffeePP

I’ve had a really productive day today, with the sun out it sure does inspire me to ‘do’ rather than procrastinate! I had a lovely morning running my class at The Paperlane and it was lovely to see some faces I haven’t seen for a while and of course those who come every month šŸ™‚

Anyway, I had this card idea the other night and tonight I made time to make it…

2016SOTW54

I was totally inspired by the new sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch! HERE and seen below. The I LOVE COFFEE banner in the set was perfect to create the trio of rectangular elements shown in the sketch.

CTS_167

I still wanted to use and add some of the other stamps contained in the set on my card but keep them subtle, so I randomly stamped the coffee cup and beans onto a Soft Stone CS layer using VersaMark Dazzle Champagne ink. This panel is mounted onto a Smokey Slate card base and the trio of sentiments adhered using foam adhesive.

2016SOTW54a

Short & sweet from me tonight, I have still a few jobs to cross off the list in preparation for the mini April Release! If you didn’t catch my posts HERE and HERE the Uniko Design Team and I have introduced the first product being released today.

I will be back tomorrow with more to share. Don’t forget that this set is discountedĀ HEREĀ on the website this week.

Stamp Of The Week – I LOVE Coffee

Hey!

Welcome back to the NEW feature here at Uniko, Stamp Of The Week (SOTW).Ā This week I am dusting off…Ā I LOVE Coffee

ILoveCoffeePP

With my family leaving today to enjoy a couple of nights by the seaside and the beans going to their grandparents for the day I was hoping for a full day of crafting. I did a few cards, but my creative mojo was lacking energy today and I didn’t get as much done as planned.

I did get to make todays SOTW card…

2016SOTW53

The result something a little out of my normal CAS comfort zone, a little ‘busier’ than normal, but the bright cheery ColourQĀ challenge colours seen HERE and below were perfect for the rainy and gloomy day we have had.

336

I treated myself to a new Reverse Confetti die and have been itching to use it since it arrived on Tuesday, hence its use on my card šŸ˜‰

2016SOTW53A

Short & sweet from me tonight, so that’s all from me today and using this set, but I will be back tomorrow with more to share. Don’t forget that this set is discountedĀ HEREĀ on the website this week.

Stamp Of The Week – I LOVE Coffee

Hey!

Welcome back to the NEW feature here at Uniko, Stamp Of The Week (SOTW).Ā This week I am dusting off… I LOVE Coffee

ILoveCoffeePP

I decided I wanted to play along with the currentĀ “Less is More”Ā challenge againĀ HEREĀ which is to use non white white space! Basically a card with a coloured card base and plenty of uncluttered space on the card.

Less-Is-More-Header

I was out walking with the beans this morning and the card idea came to me as I was thinking about which set to revisit this week. So as soon as they went down for their nap I set to making it…

2016SOTW50

I started out by creating a mask of the coffee cup and placing it onto my kraft card base. This helped me to place and trace around a heart die. I then set to stamping the coffee bean trio around the tracing of the heart.

2016SOTW50a

The coffee cup is stamped on a separate piece of kraft CS, as is the red heart from I LOVE Tea and they are both fussy cut out. The “I Love” part of the sentiment is a partial stamped sentiment from Simply Said and the Coffee is a partial stamp from the I LOVE Coffee set.

Ok, that’s all from me today and using this set, I will be back tomorrow with more to share. Don’t forget that this set is discountedĀ HEREĀ on the website this week.Ā Oh, and you might want to join in on the challenges this month over at “Less is More” as Uniko is the sponsor this month šŸ˜‰
