Introducing… Designer Dies Originally Organic Additions Collection

Hey & My Apologies For My Lateness!

Welcome to day 6 of the May 2018 Release product introductions!

I am super excited about today as the product we are introducing is some NEW matching Designer Dies to a previously released and popular Uniko clear stamp set. I love matching dies, they provide so many more techniques and ways to stretch your stamps.

OK, so let’s see these dies and the clear stamp set they match…

So many fun possibilities with these dies and clear stamp set now 😉 And one of my favourite cards to make is shaker cards!

Hopefully you have hopped along with the design team and seen the shaker card I shared HERE yesterday. Thank you for all your lovely comments too. I would just like to give a shout out to Sarah P, as it was Sarah who suggested a separate die for the inside and outside of the heart wreath 🙂

Ok, so I have one more card which (hopefully) shows the delicacy of the heart wreath when cut with both the inside and outside dies…

IntroOOADD2

I adhered the wreath using glue, so it was flat to my black card base. I then die cut and stamped some colourful flowers adhering them with foam adhesive. The sentiment is from Simply Said Blocks II and the enamel dots are Stampin’ Up!

IntroOOADD2a

That’s all I have to share here, but there is plenty of inspiration from our Guest Designer & Design Team.

Introducing… Bee Happy Clear Stamp Set & Honeycomb Pattern Stencil

Hey!

Welcome to back to the second day of the May 2018 Release product introductions. Did you enjoy yesterdays introductions? I sure did, the Design Team and our Guest Designer Anna did an amazing job of showcasing them. If you missed the fun be sure to catch up HERE.

Today we are introducing 2 more products. Bee Happy Clear Stamp Set and Honeycomb Pattern Stencil. Hopefully you have hopped on over from the start of the Blog Hop HERE, I’ve shared a card there too and you will find all the Design Team links too 😉

I’ve a couple more cards to share with you using the Bee Happy clear stamp set.

First up I have this clean and simple love themed card. The Bee Happy clear stamp set contains this hexagon heart stamp and a couple of smaller hexagons which fit nicely inside the hexagons in the heart. I started by stamping the heart in VersaFine Onyx Black and then stamping the solid small hexagon in Altenew Ruby Red ink. I then fussy cut the heart out.

IntroBeeHappy2

The bee is stamped, fussy cut out, coloured with Copic marker and clear Wink Of Stella added to the wings. Usually I would simply die cut the stitched die shape, stamped the sentiment and mounted the heart and bee. However, I thought I would try by hand at embossing with the die instead and I have to say I rather like the technique!

IntroBeeHappy2a

I wanted there to be a little subtle dimension having embossed the stitched square, so that is my reasoning for fussy cutting the heart and bee. The bee is adhered with 1 mm thick foam adhesive.

Lastly I have one more super CAS card to share…

IntroBeeHappy3

I wanted to create a fun pattern using the trio of hexagon stamps, so I set the stamp in my MISTI tool and stamped away 😉 I used the acetate sheet the stamps come on for placement of my next stamped image. It was a little fiddly and time consuming, but I am pleased with the results.

IntroBeeHappy3a

I then repeated what I did with the card above and the small solid hexagon. This time I only stamped inside a few of the hexagons, randomly. It was almost a one layer card, but with it being so clean and simple I decided it needed a subtle white on white border and layered onto a white card base.

That’s all I have to share with you today using this clear stamp set, but be sure to hop along with the Design Team for even more inspiration…

Hugs

This month we have TWO awesome Guest Designers joining us, Marianne and Milka, both where lucky winners of Uniko Challenge #38.

They’ve created wonderful inspiration for you…

First is this beautiful Spring Wreath by Marianne, who has used the Uniko Digital Stamp Collection  I designed for Simply Cards & Papercrafts last Autumn. Isn’t beautifully coloured, soft and Springy?! If you missed the post and downloads you can see it HERE.

Be sure to stop on by for all the details on Marianne’s card HERE and leave some love 🙂

Next, Milka has used the recent Uniko Digital Stamp Collection I designed for Simply Cards & Papercrafts to make this beautiful Spring card…

Another beautifully coloured card and if you missed the post and downloads you can see it HERE.

Be sure to stop on by for all the details on Milka’s card HERE and leave some love 🙂

I’ve not been feeling so well over the past few days, so I opted for a fairly quick CAS card 😉 The Originally Organic Additions clear stamp set has been really popular this week on the website and I was also inspired by Keren’s use of the set HERE too. So I grabbed my set and made this fairly quick CAS card…

USC#40

I opted for some bright and fresh colours for my card also giving me chance to use my newly acquired Lawn Fawn inks which I have limited colours of 😉 The wreath was stamped in Jalapeño and the tiny fussy cut buds in Sunflower, Plastic Flamingo and Merman. The ‘Easter Blessings’ sentiment is from Some Bunny clear stamp set and stamped in Manatee ink.

USC#40a

The layout of my card is inspired by this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch! sketch seen HERE and below, hence my offset stamping of the heart wreath.

CTS_213

That’s all from me, but the Uniko Design team also have some Spring inspiration to share, be sure to follow the links to their blogs to find out more and I am sure they’d love a nice comment too 😉

Introducing… Originally Organic Additions

YAY!

I’m SO happy that you have stopped by today, as here at Uniko preparations for the February & 5th Birthday product release are well underway. Yesterday the Design Team and I introduced Block Party Birthday. If you missed it you can catch up HERE.

Today, we are back with the introduction of Originally Organic Additions – YAY! Originally Organic was introduced back in Sept/Oct last year HERE and I also had a feature and digital stamp collection in Simply Cards & Papercrafts HERE.

As both the clear stamps and digital stamps were so popular I decided to turn a few of the digital stamps into physical ones. Plus both sets can be mixed to create more possibilities, which I am sure you will see over the coming days/weeks 😉

Today I have focused on two of the smaller stamps in the set to create my own simple stamped background.

I’ve used another of the sentiments from the new set, again they are friendship and encouragement themed and have the same font mix that appears to be very popular.

I had a little trip out with the beans and a couple of crafty friends yesterday afternoon to the local Crafters Companion store. They have a lovely cafe too! So after a quick look round we sat, ate and decided what out purchases would be 😉

Anyway, I chose to try some lovely Lawn Fawn inks. The small outline flower and flower stem, which are two separate stamps are stamped in Manatee ink, a lovely soft grey. I was really pleased to discover that these inks withhold alcohol marker bleeding, so I coloured parts of the flower in with 3 different markers.

Stamp Of The Week – Rustic Christmas

Hey!

Welcome back, this week I have chosen Rustic Christmas as my SOTW…

RusticChristmasPP

Today I have gone for a more rustic feel to my card, seeing as that is in the title of this clear stamp set 😉 I was having a look through some of my recent Stampin’ Up! stash and found this lovely kraft CS panel with a clear embossed woodgrain effect…

The tree is stamped in Old Olive with a little accent red Robin. The sentiment is stamped in Soft Suede ink and I added some linen thread & bow from my stash and a cream heart embellishment.
