Introducing… English Country Garden Butterflies Designer Dies & Large Background Sketched Foliage

Hey!

Welcome to Day 2 of the April / May 2019 Release product introductions. If you missed Day 1, you can catch up HERE, it is one not to be missed 😉

Today we are introducing English Country Garden Designer Dies & Large Background Sketched Foliage Clear Stamp. Hopefully you have hopped on over from HERE, the start of todays introduction blog hop. I have shared a little bit about todays designs and where my inspiration for them came from.

Here is a look at todays products in action…

AprilSR3

First up is English Country Garden Butterflies Designer Dies. This set of coordinating dies have been on my wish list forever! Usually my first make with coordinating dies would be a shaker card, but I resisted the urge and kept my card clean and simple and used the largest butterfly die to create a raised die cut aperture!

Next I have a card using the Large Background Sketched Foliage…

AprilSR7

I wanted to have a little fun with this background stamp as it has a little more detail than the other 2 large background stamps I have in the Uniko line up. I’ve not long had the Avery Elle Focal Point Stripes Die and I thought it would be fun to use it as a focal point of this card to create a fun two tone green spotlighted image.

AprilSR7a

It looks complicated, but it is really quite a simple card to make & you can actually make 2 cards from the effort of one quite easily too! I used my MISTI stamping tool to stamp the background in 2 shades of green Altenew Ink (I used Fresh Leaf & Lime) onto panels of white card trimmed to the same size.

Then I simply die cut the Avery Elle Focal Point Stripes from the lighter (Lime) panel and adhered it to the darker panel using foam adhesive, making sure that the design matched up nicely. I then adhered it to my card base & stamped a sentiment from Simply Said.

That’s all I have to share with you today using these new products, but I will have more on release day. I know my awesome Guest Designer and Design Team have lots of inspiration to share with you, so be sure to hop on by to each of them…

Introducing…Christmas Sparkle & Winter Foliage

YAY!

Thanks for all the lovely comments yesterday, didn’t the Design Team do an awesome job showcasing the new Marvellous Mehndi and Simply Said II clear stamps? If you missed it you can catch up HERE.

I’m SO glad that you have decided to come back today 😉 as we have the last two product introductions for Sept/Oct product  release. That means tomorrow is full reveal and release day!

Anyway, lets have a look at Christmas Sparkle and Winter Foliage. Both these clear stamp sets are awesome on their own, but they can be used together beautifully AND they work with other previously released Uniko Christmas/Winter themed clear stamps 😉

*WARNING* My first card is rather bright, so you may require sunglasses!

IntroChristmasSparkle1

The current challenge over at AAA Cards HERE, which is the masking technique inspired my card. I also wanted it to be bright and cheerful to coordinate with the sentiment from All Occasion Sentiments #4.

#74

I started by stamping both the outline bauble and inner sparkle bauble in the centre of the white CS layer with SU! Melon Mambo ink. I then masked the bauble to stamp the baubles either side in SU! Tempting Turquoise and Lucky Limeade. Once I had done all the stamping I added clear Wink Of Stella to all the baubles for added shimmer.

My next card is another quick and easy mass produceable Christmas card using Winter Foliage…

IntroWinterF2

I’ve used all the stamps contained in the Winter Foliage set to create a cluster bough of foliage. I added in the smaller pine bough from Jingle Bells and a sentiment raised on foam adhesive from the upcoming Simply Said II.

Introducing… Originally Organic

YAY!

I’m SO happy that you have stopped by today, as here at Uniko preparations for the Sept/Oct product  release are well underway. We have had all the sneak peeks at the 5 clear stamp sets being released and NOW it is time for the Design Team and I to introduce them to you. If you missed the peeks, you can catch up on them HERE, HERE and HERE.

Today the Design Team and I are introducing you to a clear stamp set called Originally Organic. This is a modern floral/foliage set with a collection of positive friendship and growth sentiments. I designed this clear stamp set at the same time as the FREEBIE digital stamp collection featured and available for download from Simply Cards & Papercrafts HERE.

I have shared a couple of projects over HERE and the release schedule is outlined over there too. I had SO much fun using this new set, that I made quite a few cards, so here are a couple more…

This card showcases the smaller stamps contained in the set and another of the sentiments. I wanted the card to be colourful, so reached for my favourite colour combo!

I’ve used this layout before and it is a good one for showcasing a full stamped panel. As you can (hopefully) see I added some clear Wink Of Stella and a few SU! It’s My Party enamel dots.

Ok, that’s all I have to share with you here, but hop along the Design Team Blog links below for even more inspiration. I know for a fact you won’t be disappointed, the team have created amazing projects showcasing how this set can be used…
