To Bee or Not to Bee Blog Hop

Hey & Happy Monday!

Welcome to the 2019 BEE or not to BEE Blog Hop!

Hopefully you have hopped on over from the Uniko Blogspot Blog HERE, where I have shared all the information about the hop & you can see all the Uniko DT inspiration. The official start of the hop begins on Milka‘s blog and all the participants can be found at the end of this post.

The purpose of this blog hop is to celebrate World Bee Day, to support bees and to raise public awareness of the importance of bees and apicultural products.

And this is what I have created for the occasion…

I’ve combined Uniko’s Bee Happy clear stamp set with some die cut hexagons using the Sizzix Framelits Hexagon Hive die. I also used the die to ink blend the coloured hexagons on the hexagon heart.

In celebration of the hop I’ve made a couple of cards using Uniko’s recently released Bee Happy clear stamp set…

BEE1

I was inspired to create a semi random patten using the honeycomb trio. I stamped it using Altenew Warm Sunshine ink and then infilled some of the honeycombs using the tiny hexagon stamped in Altenew Buttercream ink. I added the ‘Happy Bee Day’ sentiment and a stamped & fussy cut bee flying away.

BEE2

This card layout was inspired by the current CAS(E) this Sketch! layout seen HERE and below. Just too fun not to join in 😉

My next card is a reminder to ‘Bee Yourself’. I have had so much fun creating stories using this sentiment and the bee image…

BEE3

I used my MISTI tool to space and stamp the bees in trio of lines using VersaFine Black ink. I purposefully left a gap for my colourful bee flying away from them, to represent YOU to BEE yourself.

I hope you have enjoyed my cards today and that I have inspired you too! Your next stop on the hop is the wonderful Birka Reinitz.

Thanks for stopping by today & joining in on the fun.
