Stamp Of The Week – Simply Said Christmas

Stamp Of The Week – Simply Said Christmas

Hey!

Welcome back to the NEW feature here at Uniko, Stamp Of The Week (I took a little break last week due to the November Release & NEW stamps now available in the shop).

Basically each week I will be choosing a stamp set to dust off & give some inky love to. Though I am open to requests of stamp sets to revisit, so if you have a request either leave a comment or drop me an email. Along with giving the set some love, the featured set is also discounted in store for that week.

This week I am dusting off… Simply Said Christmas

SimplySaidChristmasPP

This set is a wonderful mini clear stamp set featuring popular Christmas/Holiday sentiments in trendy modern fonts. They are sized so that they can be the focal point of the card with minimal decoration or they can enhance any Christmas/Holiday image in your stamp collection, even those from other popular companies.

Today I am sharing a card which I made for the recent class at The Paperlane…

SOTW18

The purpose of this card was to show how the outline Christmas tree from the NEW Essentially Christmas coordinates with the Christmas trees in Background Builders: Christmas. The Merry Christmas sentiment from Simply Said Christmas was perfect to fill the gap at the bottom of the tag & to ‘ground’ the Christmas tree.

The tree is decorated with tiny outline circles (a teeny tiny stamp from the Essentially Christmas set) stamped in black ink & coloured with At You Spica pens that have a slight sparkle to them.

Short & sweet from me this afternoon, I have two posts HERE and HERE over on the Uniko Blogger blog! I’ve been a busy bee in the Uniko ‘studio’.

I will be back again tomorrow with more to share using this set combined with other Uniko stamps & possibly some old favourite stamps from other companies 😉 Don’t forget this set is discounted this week HERE in store.

Until tomorrow, thank you for stopping by today.

I’m catching up on spotlights I’ve missed; I didn’t realize you have a second blog (or at least I think you do…I’m awash in confusion these days!). Your card/tag combination: sooooo delightful! Amazing how ‘simple’ can be so sensational!
