Spring Rainbows!

Spring Rainbows!

Hey!

I jumped the gun a week early last week with my Uniko Challenge reminder post, so I am back again this week along with the Design Team and our Guest Designers to ‘officially’ remind you about our current challenge!

So this month we have the following challenge…

Spring is just around the corner for those in the Northern hemisphere and who doesn’t love pretty flowers and bunnies?!

Challenge Guidelines:

* You can use any products/stamps to enter the challenge, but we do LOVE to see you use your Uniko products. Plus, there is an extra chance to win a prize if you do 😉
* Email entries welcome, just email a photo of your card to bev@uniko.co.uk and I will add it to the Uniko Flickr gallery and link up!
* Share the challenge graphic in your post and link back to the challenge if possible 😉
This month we have TWO awesome Guest Designers joining us, Marianne and Milka, both where lucky winners of Uniko Challenge #38.
They’ve created wonderful inspiration for you…

First is this stunning rainbow of butterflies by Marianne, who has used the Uniko English Country Garden Butterflies clear stamp set. Isn’t it beautiful and I know that Marianne has used the new Distress Oxide inks, so be sure to stop on by for all the details on Marianne’s card HERE and leave some love 🙂

Next, Milka has used the recent Uniko Digital Stamp Collection I designed for Simply Cards & Papercrafts to make another beautiful Spring card…

I just LOVE the simplicity of Milka’s card and the fussy cutting and colouring is stunning. Be sure to stop on by for all the details on Milka’s card HERE and leave some love 🙂

If you missed the post and downloads you can see it HERE.

This is what I came up with to ‘hopefully’ inspire you…

I used a couple of challenges to kick start my creativity, I’ve been busy in the studio finalising some new stamps and dies coming soon and in the next couple of months. Hence the lack of posts and my mojo has taken a hit too 😉

Anyway, I decided to turn to one of my favourite sketch challenges Freshly Made Sketches seen HERE and below. I decided to switch up the circle to a square as it suited the size of the stamps I was using.

I chose a ‘rainbow’ colour scheme as Uniko is the proud sponsor of the current TIME OUT Challenges challenge this fortnight HERE. This fortnight it is a ‘Inspired by Words’ challenge…

‘When it rains look for rainbows, when its dark look for stars’

Hopefully you can tell that I focused on the rainbow part of the words! I used Originally Organic Additions for the flowers and the stem, the sentiment is from Some Bunny.

That’s all I had time to create last night, but the Uniko Design team also have some Spring inspiration to share, be sure to follow the links to their blogs to find out more and I am sure they’d love a nice comment too 😉
