Introducing… Spring Botanicals Daffodil

Introducing… Spring Botanicals Daffodil

Hey!

Welcome back to day two of the product introductions. This is the exciting bit, where you get to see the sneak peeks in action!

WOW! Wasn’t yesterday FUN?! If you missed the product introduction and blog hop, you can catch up HERE.

Today myself and the Design Team are introducing the next flower in the Spring Botanical series, Spring Botanicals Daffodil.
How about a look at this clear stamp set in action…
IntroDaff1
I’ve gone super clean and simple for my first card as I wanted the Spring yellows and greens to shine against the crisp white background.
IntroDaff1a
I’ve used my trusty Prismacolor pencils to colour the daffodil, which I fussy cut out and adhered to the card base using foam adhesive. The sentiment is just one from the clear stamp set and I added some simple glittered enamel dot embellishments to finish.
Lastly I went super quick creative due to minimal time to create these days…
IntroDaff2
I started with a large stamp block, big enough to cover my card size (10.5 x 14 cm) and I roughly coloured over it with 2 Zig Clean Color Brush Pens. I then heavily spritzed with water and then stamped it onto some smooth watercolour card stock.

Once my panel was dry, I simply stamped the Daffodil in VersaFine Onyx Black ink, added another of the sentiments from the clear stamp set, which has a couple of mix and match options and embellished with some clear sequins.
That’s all I have to share with you using this clear stamp set, but we have our usual design team blog hop too! It’s a hop full of wonderful inspiration and techniques, I can’t wait to read how they’ve created all their samples! So get comfy, grab a drink and be sure to hop around all the Design Team blogs for a TON of inspiration and leave comments along your way to be in the chance of winning some random prizes!

Stunning! I love the absolute simplicity of the first card, and that soft watercolour wash on the second is so pretty.

Whether they’re prisma coloured and fussy cut or water coloured and simply stamped, your daffodils are *the* stars of the stage! Gorgeous, both!
