Introducing… Block Party Christmas
YAY!
I’m SO happy that you have stopped by today, as here at Uniko preparations for the October 2017 product release are well underway. We have had all the sneak peeks at the 5 clear stamp sets being released and NOW it is time for the Design Team and I to introduce them to you.

Just like Block Party Birthday, the stamp is one BIG block, measuring 9.5 x 13 cm and it is a style of Subway Art. You might recognise some images from previously released and now retired clear stamp sets.

I kept my first card here really simple and hopefully letting the stamp take centre stage?! I simply stamped (a whole bunch) the image in VersaFine Onyx Black ink and set it aside to dry. I then decided to give my new trio of Distress Oxide inks and outing and created a simple ink blended background. To finish the card off I went and added glitter to most of the open images/words using my Quickie glue pen and Stampin’ Up glitter. I also added some small dots to the snowflakes for good measure 😉
For my last card today (which I nearly didn’t share as it isn’t my best make), I decided to do some heat embossing…

Again I used my MISTI tool to stamp the image in VersaMark ink and then heat embossed the image in Gold EP. I then trimmed the image to use just a small section of the block.
In hindsight I wish that I had kept it at that, but I decided to mess on and die cut a small Designer Die Snowflake (more details on these on Monday, unless you’ve been following me on Instagram/Facebook) and added some gold heat embossing to that too!

That’s all from me today using this stamp, but be sure to hop along all the Design Team blogs and leave a comment along the way, as you never know you might just win a random prize (in September random prizes were added to various release day orders). I know for sure that you won’t be disappointed the Design Team have created a bountiful wealth of inspiration 🙂

Lovely inking on the first one, and its the second one which steals the show for me, classic color combo!
You really are rocking this distress ink blending now! I think you 2nd card is fab (& with the snowflake too!) A classic colour combo xx
Just seen all the shimmer of the first one on your facebook video – brilliant! Loving the classy gold and black too!
This really does show how versatile this stamp is. I love the warm, soft tones and touch of glitter on your first card, but I think it’s the elegant black, white, and gold that is stunning! xx
Who would think to use part of the image?…not me of course… and the CAS card you have created is stunning Bev. Love the ink blending on your first card too…adds to the party feel and of course all the sparkle…much required. xx
It was a very cool hop !! This block stamp is really great.
Wonderful introductions to your Merry Christmas Block Party stamp! In both cases, the images do take center stage! Love the blended background of the first and the class of the second! Sighh….wish I were joining you and the team! I will…late *grin*
Hugs~c
Love the inking on your first card!!! And using just part of the image—like you did on your second card—is a brilliant idea!
Wonderful cards!! Both are unique and beautiful! I love the block party stampset and you have beautifully used it in your card!
Love this Christmas block
stamp! Your cards are
lovely. Maybe add some
bling to the second card
if you don’t like it.

Simply delicious cards Bev and like you I love that combo of DI’s in picked raspberry, peacock feathers, mustard seed and spiced marmalade. Looks luscious and fabulous with the block party stamp. Clever little window design too on the second one and teamed with the returning snowflakes. Full of festive sparkle too … what more can a girl ask for!!!
Awesome stamp! I love the ink blending on the first one and the second one is so opulent with the fab embossing! xxx
Oh, very nice combo of colors for this first card! 😉 It highlights this stamp very beautifully and even more with the touches of glitter! I love your second card with this very chic and elegant look (even with the snowflake!). Love it ! xx
I love the block stamp.
You get a great card without a
lot of extra stamping.
thanks for sharing.
Beautiful cards, love the black and gold.
Whoa!! Love the first card with that colorful background and the assortment of images – this is a winner in my book! And I adore the classic color combination of your second card (so excited to see you getting back into the die game too!). 🙂
