Introducing… Background Blocks Scattered Polka Dots and Simply Said Blocks

YAY!

I’m SO happy that you have stopped by today, as here at Uniko preparations for the September product release are well underway. We have had all the sneak peeks at the 5 clear stamp sets being released and NOW it is time for the Design Team and I to introduce them to you.

Today, myself and my AWESOME Design Team are introducing TWO clear stamp sets, Background Blocks Scattered Polka Dots and Simply Said Blocks. These two sets have so many fun possibilities and can be used and paired with all sorts of stamps and paper crafting goodies.
Hopefully you should have arrived here from the Uniko Blogspot Blog HERE, if not be sure to start there and see my first couple of introduction cards 😉
First up a card using Simply Said Blocks, paired with Uniko Style. Again I have another rainbow card, perfect for the current challenge over at TIME OUT Challenges HERE. Uniko is the sponsor for the challenge AND I am your CASE muse too 😉

I used the ‘blank’ block and my MISTI tool to stamp the striped BG using my 3 favourite colours and two shades from my Altenew ink collection.

The ‘Thanks’ sentiment also from the set is stamped in black, fussy cut out and mounted onto the card using foam adhesive. I added a few of my favourite SU! Enamel Dots too 😉
Next I had to have another go at the multicoloured polka dot background, but this time I used a softer colour palette and paired the background with Celebrate With Cake.

Again I used my MISTI tool and a Stampin’ Up! In Colour collection of markers to individually and randomly colour the dots. It’s a little time consuming (though therapeutic if you like colouring), but totally worth the result! After colouring the dots and before stamping, be sure to ‘huff’ over the stamp to moisten the ink.

Hopefully you can see the dimension of the die cut polka dot background and cupcake, along with the sparkly frosting – yum!
That’s all from me today using these sets and I hope I have inspired you?! If not, be sure to hop along all the Design Team blogs and leave a comment along the way, as you never know you might just win a random prize! I know for sure that you won’t be disappointed the Design Team have created a bountiful wealth of inspiration 🙂

More deliciousness. The polka dots look awesome in these softer colours and I love the heart sprinkles on the glittery cupcake.

Another two fabulous cards ! I love your first card with the combination of the stripes and the Uniko style stamp ! So beautiful with these colours ! And again the scattered dots are gorgeous with all these colours, I really have to try this ! BTW, what do you mean by “to huff”, is it synonymous to “to blow” ?
