Countdown to Christmas Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Uniko Countdown to Christmas Blog Hop!

Hey!

I am so glad you have stopped by today as today we have a Uniko Design Team Countdown to Christmas Blog Hop (To start at the beginning of the blog hop CLICK HERE). I decided to put on this extra Design Team blog hop as not all the team received their November Release goodies in time for the release day blog hop HERE.

So, we are all here today with more inspiration using the Uniko November 2015 Release products, which are still in stock but a couple of the sets I only have a small amount of stock left 😉

Here are some more cards I made using the new clear stamps…

C2CBH3

First up I have another card using Essentially Christmas. This time I wanted to focus on the little present/gift box in the set and a couple of the smaller accent elements.

C2CBH3a

As you can see I 2 step stamped the gift in VersaMagic Red Magic & Encore gold inks. The gift is topped with the bow from Jingle Bells as I wanted a more ‘poofey’ bow!

C2CBH2

My next card has been on my ‘to make’ list since I first got my hands on the November Release! Finally I found the inspiration to make it 😉

Again, I was inspired by the colours & photo inspiration from the current Fusion Card Challenge HERE and seen below. I just love the colours, they’re one of my favourite Christmas go to combos.

Sketch09

I just so happened to have the ‘perfect’ shaker card mix of sequins that I bought months ago from ‘Little Things from Lucy’s Cards’. For my card I have combined the bow & fern from Jingle Bells with the Let it Snow & bauble hanger from Labelled Christmas.

C2CBH2a

I have one last card to share with you today using I LOVE Coffee

C2CBH1

This card was inspired by the current CAS Colours & Sketches challenge seen HERE and below. As you can see it is a sketch challenge. I have been lucky enough to be Guest Designing for CC&S for the month of November & you can see my GD card HERE. Which I really liked, but as you can see I ‘bent’ the rules quite a bit & I didn’t stick to the half circle elements in the sketch (Sorry CC&S).

sketch 152

So this time I did! It turned out to be the perfect sketch to show you the size difference between the Uniko logo flower contained in the I LOVE Coffee set compared to the same flower contained in the previously released Flower Power #3 set.

C2CBH1a

Another thing I discovered was how the larger outline flower from Flower Power #3 can be ‘joined’ together when stamped to hang over an edge 🙂 I think it helps join the two semi circles and the design to flow. After I had done my focal elements I wanted a sentiment but couldn’t find a suitable placement over the semi circles, so I decided to stamp the sentiment ‘Coffee & Friends make the perfect blend’ on my white CS panel in VersaMark Dazzle Champagne ink.

Ok, that is FINALLY all from me today! Remember, simply visit & comment along the hop by midnight Saturday 5th December, to be in the chance of winning  the ENTRIE release! The WINNER will be announced Sunday 6th December.

All the new products showcased today are available HERE on the website.

We also have a Black Friday weekend SALE on AND we have some products RETIRING which are at a discounted price until all stock of the retiring items are sold.

THANK YOU so much for stopping by today & joining in on all the fun. I hope that you all have a wonderful festive season.

Have you joined in yet?

Hey!

I’m here today along with our Guest Designers & some of the Design Team to remind you that there is still time to join in on the current Uniko Challenge HERE.

This month we have another super easy challenge for you…

This month we have two wonderful Guest Designers, firstly our winner from Challenge #25 Jen from The Other Fickle Pixie and Shona from Twine Around. Be sure to stop on by their blogs to see what they have created & why not have a peek around their blog too, you won’t be disappointed!

Don’t forget to visit the Uniko Design Team too & see what they’ve created, all the links to their blogs can be found HERE on the challenge post.

Onto my card…

UnikoChallenge#27

As you can see I have gone super CAS for this one & one layer too, perfect for mailing out! I used a few other challenges to spark my creativity. First up is the current 2 week challenge at CAS(E) this Sketch! seen HERE and below. I’ve had so many ideas whirling around for this sketch but with being ill I hadn’t found time to join in.

CTS_150

I was also inspired by the new Fusion Card Challenge HERE and seen below, I used the colours from the inspiration photo. Such lovely turquoise/blue tones with sparkly silver & white.

Sketch09

As you can see from this close up below, I have used 2 snowflakes from Stunning Snowflakes & heat embossed one the sentiments from the set with Stardust EP for the sparkle! I was going to say I used one of my favourite sentiments from the set, but I actually LOVE them all! Haha!

UnikoChallenge#27a

I actually chose this particular sentiment due to the new challenge over at TIME OUT Challenges HERE. This fortnight it is an inspired by words challenge & the words are…

SNOWFLAKES ARE WINTER’S BUTTERFLIES

So, I thought I would join in over there too! Ok, I have one last little bit of info for you before I go & that is…

It’s BLACK FRIDAY!

unikoBFbargains

Finally that’s all from me today! Hope to see you joining in on the Uniko Challenge 😉

Stamp Of The Week – Simply Said Christmas

Hey!

Welcome back to the NEW feature here at Uniko, Stamp Of The Week (I took a little break last week due to the November Release & NEW stamps now available in the shop).

Basically each week I will be choosing a stamp set to dust off & give some inky love to. Though I am open to requests of stamp sets to revisit, so if you have a request either leave a comment or drop me an email. Along with giving the set some love, the featured set is also discounted in store for that week.

This week I am dusting off… Simply Said Christmas

SimplySaidChristmasPP

This set is a wonderful mini clear stamp set featuring popular Christmas/Holiday sentiments in trendy modern fonts. They are sized so that they can be the focal point of the card with minimal decoration or they can enhance any Christmas/Holiday image in your stamp collection, even those from other popular companies.

Today I am sharing a card which I made for the recent class at The Paperlane…

SOTW18

The purpose of this card was to show how the outline Christmas tree from the NEW Essentially Christmas coordinates with the Christmas trees in Background Builders: Christmas. The Merry Christmas sentiment from Simply Said Christmas was perfect to fill the gap at the bottom of the tag & to ‘ground’ the Christmas tree.

SOTW18a

The tree is decorated with tiny outline circles (a teeny tiny stamp from the Essentially Christmas set) stamped in black ink & coloured with At You Spica pens that have a slight sparkle to them.

Short & sweet from me this afternoon, I have two posts HERE and HERE over on the Uniko Blogger blog! I’ve been a busy bee in the Uniko ‘studio’.

I will be back again tomorrow with more to share using this set combined with other Uniko stamps & possibly some old favourite stamps from other companies 😉 Don’t forget this set is discounted this week HERE in store.

Until tomorrow, thank you for stopping by today.

Stamp Of The Week – Label Love: Christmas

Hey!

Welcome back to the NEW feature here at Uniko, Stamp Of The Week. Basically each week I will be choosing a stamp set to dust off & give some inky love to. Though I am open to requests of stamp sets to revisit, so if you have a request either leave a comment or drop me an email. Along with giving the set some love, the featured set is also discounted in store for that week.

This week I am dusting off… Label Love: Christmas

LabelLoveChristmas

As I missed half of the week last week (due to November Release prep) & I will be using last weeks Stamp Of The Week, Label Love: Thank you BOTH clear stamp sets are available at a discount for this week in store HERE & HERE.

After the mammoth posting yesterday over on blogger, I never made it back to share my card for Stamp Of The Week 🙁 though I’m here today instead, all be it later than planned but I’m here!

SOTW17

My card is inspired by the current challenge over at TIME OUT Challenges, which Uniko is sponsoring 😉 The theme is Christmas with an optional twist of using pink & or purple.

For my card I used a combination of Label Love: Christmas and Stunning Snowflakes, I also incorporated some masking, stamping & cutting out a little window in my label…

SOTW17a

Oh, and of course I added glitter & rhinestones for good measure! As you can see (hopefully), by cutting the inner part of the label where I would normally stamp the sentiment, allowed me to stamp it onto my white snowflake matt layer. I then foam mounted the glittered edged label to create a lovely dimension to my card & focal point.

There is still plenty of time to join in on the challenge, I hope to see you in the gallery 🙂

Ok, that’s all from me today I have tomorrows ‘Introducing’ post to prepare as we continue the countdown to the November Release on the 11th! Eeeeek! I am way too excited and rather pleased with the trio of samples I am sharing tomorrow 😉 Until then, thank you for stopping by today.

November 2015 Sneak Peeks Day 1

Hey!

The day is FINALLY here & I can share a couple of sneak peeks from the upcoming November 2015 Release 🙂 I am so excited about this release & more so because it’s nearly Christmas!
Anyway, without further ado let’s get to a couple of peeks…

This first peek is of a fun Christmas essentials clear stamp set. The set features a collection of fun outline & solid images along with some mix & match sentiments. It also coordinates with a previously release Uniko Christmas clear stamp set for even more possibilities!

This second peek is for all you coffee lovers out there & perfect for all your coffee living friends too! Even though it is coffee themed, it would be easy to make it suitable for any hot beverage.
Ok, that’s all the sneak peeks for today, but I will be back tomorrow with more 😉 I do hope you will pop back & also join in on the Uniko release fun as we countdown to Release Day! I’ve outline the schedule below for you…

Stamp Of The Week – Label Love: Christmas

Hey!

LabelLoveChristmas

As I missed half of the week last week (due to November Release prep) & I will be using last weeks Stamp Of The Week, Label Love: Thank you BOTH clear stamp sets are available at a discount for this week in store HERE & HERE.

Anyway, on to today’s card…

SOTW16

Today I decided on another non traditional colour scheme Christmas card, it was firstly inspired by the new Freshly Made Sketches layout seen HERE and below.

FMS Final 211-001

With the beans nap time getting slightly shorter & needing to create a few cards that I will be sharing HERE tomorrow, I needed a jump start on my creativity and using a sketch really reduces thinking time, giving more creative time!!

I decided to ink up the music label contained in the set, paring it with the Let it Snow sentiment and a snowflake from Stunning Snowflakes embossed in silver & stardust embossing powder.

SOTW16a

I added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins, some Papertrey Ink satin ribbon (slowly using my stash!), some mini rhinestones and also edged the label in glitter which is quite hard to see in the photo, but really adds to the sparkle 🙂

Ok, that’s all from me today, I’m super busy in the home studio this week preparing for the upcoming November Release on the 11th November 🙂 Plus I’m Guest Designing for one of my favourite challenges & Uniko is still sponsoring the ongoing TIME OUT Challenge HERE. All this fun starts tomorrow HERE I hope to see you!

Until, tomorrow with my next Stamp Of The Week post, thank you for stopping by today.

As I missed half of the week last week (due to November Release prep) & I will be using last weeks Stamp Of The Week, Label Love: Thank you BOTH clear stamp sets are available at a discount for this week in store HERE & HERE.

Anyway, on to today’s trio of cards…

SOTW15

Today I wanted to focus on the sentiments & the smaller images in the set to create CAS cards easy to mass produce in a hurry if needed!

Here is a close up of the trios details…

SOTW15a

SOTW15b

SOTW15c

As you can see I kept the stamped colours to a minimum, basically black with a tiny bit of red for the holly leaves & silver for the snowflake. Embellishments were also kept to a minimum using just rhinestones & glitter. I felt that the diagonal striped card provided a contrast to the minimalistic design but only seeing a small border around the stamped panel kept the overall design CAS.

All this fun starts on Thursday HERE, I hope to see you!

Until, tomorrow with my next Stamp Of The Week post, thank you for stopping by today.

Uniko Sponsors TIME OUT Challenges & Stamp Of The Week!

Hey!

I’m back today with a special Stamp Of The Week post, as this fortnight Uniko are sponsoring the new TIME OUT Challenge HERE, so I decided to combine two.

As usual with Uniko being a sponsor of the challenge, there are PRIZES up for grabs! To be in the chance of winning a in stock stamp set of choice from the Uniko store simply join in on the challenge HERE.

This fortnight the challenge is…

CHRISTMAS

with the optional twist of using Pink & or Purple

The Uniko DT have created some FABulous Christmas inspiration, so be sure to check them out HERE on the Uniko Blog and pop by their blogs by following the links and leave some love for them.

I’ll be giving away this weeks Stamp Of The Week – Label Love: Thank you to one lucky random comment from those left on any of the Uniko DT Blogs taking part in the TIME OUT Challenge on their Uniko Sponsors TIME OUT Challenges post. You have until the end of the TIME OUT Challenge ( ) to leave a comment to be in the chance of winning.

Ok, so onto my card…

SOTW15

As you can see I went for the optional twist! I decided to pair my label from Label Love: Thank you with Stunning Snowflakes which are heat embossed in white onto watercolour card. I then did a bit of splishy splashy watercoloring with my Zig Clean Colour pen.

SOTW15a

I then created a semi see through tag for the card as I wanted the embossed snowflakes and pink watercolours to show through. I die cut the Clearly Besotted Rounded Tag from vellum, then added a PTI Limitless Layer die cut which I stamped one of the labels from Label Love: Thank you onto in VersaMagic. The sentiment is from Label Love: Christmas and the tag is adhered to the card using foam adhesive under the label die cut. I added a ribbon & bakers twine treatment to the tag and finished the whole card off with a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

Ok, that is all from me today, don’t forget to check the challenge out HERE, inspiration HERE and follow the links to the DT cards to leave the Uniko DT some love to be in the chance of winning Label Love: Thank you!

I’ll be back tomorrow with more to share, until then, thank you for stopping by today.

Stamp Of The Week – Label Love: Thank you

Hey!

I’m back today with a little card & tag ensemble using this weeks Stamp Of The Week – Label Love: Thank you. I’ve gone Christmassy too, combining it with sentiments & stars from Label Love: Christmas & a little dot trio from Balloon Bash…

SOTW13

I was inspired by a card I spotted on Pinterest HERE and seen below by the awesomely talented & sweet Dawn McVey and thought I would do a CASE using the labels.

dm

Since making my little ensemble I have added the Heidi Swapp Mini Minc Machine to my Christmas list, as I want to foil everything! LOL! I had drew the cross hatch style frame with a pencil then went over the lines with a gold Spica pen. I think it would have been much nicer foiled or now thinking about it I could have used my VersaMark pen & embossing powder.

SOTW13a

Anyway, after making the card I decided to make a matching tag using Papertrey Ink’s Tag Sale #4 die along with my Sizzix framelits 2 1/2″ circle die.

SOTW13c

Here is a photo of the ensemble…

SOTW13b

That’s all I have to share with you all today, I hope I have inspired you a little. I will be back again tomorrow with more to share & until then, thank you for stopping by today.
