February 2017 & 5th Birthday Reveal, Release & GIVEAWAY!

Hey & Welcome to the Uniko February 2017 & 5th Birthday Reveal, Release & GIVEAWAY!

Today I am here with the help of the awesome design team to introduce you to the FIVE clear stamp sets available to purchase HERE now!

Let’s have a look at them… First up we have one of the new style stamps and first in the series of Block Party. This one is appropriately named Block Party Birthday…

As you can see the stamp features some awesome birthday themed words in fabulous and trendy fonts, along with some current and retired Uniko birthday images. The stamp measures 9.5 x 13cm. If you missed seeing this set in action during the introductions, you can catch up HERE. However, I am sure you will see a few more ideas using this stamp along todays hop 😉

Next we have Originally Organic Additions…

I couldn’t resist bringing you this additions clear stamp set to not only work on its own, but to work with the popular Originally Organics clear stamp set released towards the end of 2016. Many of you will recognise the heart wreath featured in the set, which was part of a digital collection of stamps I designed for Simply Cards & Papercrafts Magazine HERE.

Another new style clear stamp series called Background Blocks. They are what they say, simply a block of yummy pattern! The first in this series Background Blocks Halftone is due to my LOVE of Pop Art and Roy Litchenstien, plus the modern pop art trend is making a come back this year.

Explosion! Additions clear stamp set, again due to my LOVE of Pop Art and to breath fresh life into the previously released Explosions! clear stamp set. Oh the fun I have had with these stamps 😉 If you missed the introduction of this set you can catch up HERE.

Lastly and by no means least, I think I save my NEW favourite to last, I welcome Uniko Style to the Uniko clear stamp line up…

Uniko Style is a modern Scandinavian inspired floral building and layering stamp set. This set might not be much to look at from the product picture itself, but the samples in the introduction HERE show just how it looks stamped in colour.

Now I have done all the formal introductions, here are a few more cards I made using the new stamps…

For my first card I decided to use Explosion! Additions and Background Blocks Halftone to try out an idea I had to add a halftone effect to the Copic coloured WOW! and BAM!

I started by stamping the words in Memento Tuxedo black and then colouring them with Copic Markers. I then created a negative mask of each of the words and stamped the Background Blocks Halftone in black ink just on the lower half of each word. I then masked each word to over stamp the halftone explosion in Lawn Fawn Merman ink.

The card took a couple of hours to make (I am slow a colouring), but I am really pleased with the result and it turned out how I had imagined it too 🙂

Next I decided to reach for my new FAVE, Uniko Style…

I decided to make a shaker card and added a little subtle Background Blocks Halftone behind the shaker window for added interest.

The sentiment is from Originally Organic Additions, the sequin mix from Pretty Pink Posh and the enamel accents from Stampin’ Up!

February 2017 & 5th Birthday Sneak Peeks Day 2

WhooHoo!

The Uniko 5th Birthday Celebrations are now in FULL swing. Yesterday I shared the first 2 sneak peeks of the FIVE clear stamps being released this month and today I get to show you the last of the ‘official’ sneak peeks.

Ok, lets get to these peeks…

This first peek is BANG on trend! It is another new ‘style’ stamp being added to the Uniko Clear Stamp line up called Background Blocks. This has SO many possibilities and can be paired with SO many clear stamps from florals to masculine images. Which leads me nicely onto the next peek…

Now, if you are a long time fan and follower of Uniko, you might just recognise the font and design in this peek 😉 This set again is BANG on trend and pairs perfectly with the previously released Explosion! clear stamp set.

Lastly but by no means least I have listened to your requests and suggestions for this clear stamp set…

Again, if you have been following me and Uniko for some time, you will know my LOVE of Scandinavian design and before our 4th Birthday celebrations I shared a post HERE called Uniko…way back to the beginning! Anyway, this little mini set is inspired by my all time favourite design and I can’t wait to show you the possibilities of this set!

Ok, so that is all the peeks and tomorrow the FUN begins as the Design Team and I start the product introductions.

Introducing… I LOVE Tea

Hey!

Over HERE today the Uniko Design Team, Taheerah Atchia Uniko DT Alumni and I are introducing the soon to be released I LOVE Tea, be sure to hop on over and join in on the mini blog hop to see the awesome inspiration the team have created using this new set.

Anyway, I thought I would share a card here too…

Like with yesterdays introduction of Beautiful Blooms III, I thought I would share some more inspiration here. This time I am sharing the first card I made using this soon to be released set, I LOVE Tea. As you can see this is a follow on set from the previously released I LOVE Coffee set.

Both the sentiment fonts and the drawing style is the same, so that the sets can be mixed and matched for even more possibilities.

If you have been HERE to join in on the blog hop today you will see that stacking the teacups is a popular trend with the DT, hence my choice to share this card here today! To create the stacked teacups I used the masking technique, I then flat coloured each of the cups with a trio of Copic markers, super simple.

After colouring the teacups I fussy cut them out and adhered them to the card using foam adhesive. The sentiment is from the new set and comes as two stamps for more stamping possibilities.

Introducing… Beautiful Blooms III

Hey!

Over HERE today the Uniko Design Team and I are introducing the soon to be released Beautiful Blooms III, be sure to hop on over and join in on the mini blog hop to see the awesome inspiration the team have created using this new set.

Anyway, I thought I would share a card here too…

This is a super simple card using all the layers of the bloom. I started out by stamping the solid flower in SU! Summer Sun onto a scrap of white card and with Cameo Coral onto my card base. The first detail is stamped in Pumpkin Pie on the first and Calypso Coral on the second. I then added the outline and smaller detail in VersaMark ink and heat embossing with detail white EP.

The leaves are from the set and the sentiment from Pure Florals: Cosmos. A few tiny rhinestones for some sparkle to finish it off.

February Sneak Peeks Day 2

YAY! I’m SO happy that you have stopped by today, I am so pleased that you are liking the look of the release so far 🙂

Today we are continuing the countdown to our 4th Birthday, with a couple more sneak peeks of products being released on the 11th February. The first couple were HERE yesterday, in case you missed them!

First up we have a sneak peek at a new sentiment set…

This mini set is jam-packed full of sentiments for all sorts of occasions. They also pair lovely with so many other Uniko sentiment and image sets for even more possibilities. It’s certainly proving to be a ‘go to’ set for me!

Lastly but by no means least I got my ‘cute’ on when designing for this next set…

This set has a mixture of interchangeable sentiments in two fun an trendy fonts along with the cute bunny 😉 As you can see it would be perfect for Easter, but how about new baby, children’s cards or even Valentine’s???

February Release Sneak Peeks Day 1

The countdown to Uniko’s 4th Birthday has begun, I can hardly believe that this little company has made it this far!

It is all down to YOU awesome customers who make my heart happy when you purchase my products and the FABulous Uniko Design Team past & present who have promoted Uniko products. All this combined continues to make my dream of designing stamps, dies and running this business possible.

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for your custom and loyalty over these past 4 years, I truly appreciate each and everyone of you.

Now, how about some MORE sneaky peeks of what’s in store for this release. You may have seen a few around social media the past few days already, but here are the ‘official’ sneak peeks…

This is a peek of a multi step stamping floral set which is a follow on from a very popular series of ‘bloom’ stamps 😉 It contains an array of building opportunities and will sure to be a go to floral set and will pair with SO many other Uniko products.

Next up, is another set in the mini series of beverage themed sets…

This time round it is for all you tea lovers out there! I have kept the style the same as the previously released I LOVE Coffee, for more mix and match possibilities. It even coordinates with the set above, as the bloom was too nice not to appear again 😉

Countdown to Christmas Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Uniko Countdown to Christmas Blog Hop!

Hey!

I am so glad you have stopped by today as today we have a Uniko Design Team Countdown to Christmas Blog Hop (To start at the beginning of the blog hop CLICK HERE). I decided to put on this extra Design Team blog hop as not all the team received their November Release goodies in time for the release day blog hop HERE.

So, we are all here today with more inspiration using the Uniko November 2015 Release products, which are still in stock but a couple of the sets I only have a small amount of stock left 😉

Here are some more cards I made using the new clear stamps…

First up I have another card using Essentially Christmas. This time I wanted to focus on the little present/gift box in the set and a couple of the smaller accent elements.

As you can see I 2 step stamped the gift in VersaMagic Red Magic & Encore gold inks. The gift is topped with the bow from Jingle Bells as I wanted a more ‘poofey’ bow!

My next card has been on my ‘to make’ list since I first got my hands on the November Release! Finally I found the inspiration to make it 😉

Again, I was inspired by the colours & photo inspiration from the current Fusion Card Challenge HERE and seen below. I just love the colours, they’re one of my favourite Christmas go to combos.

I just so happened to have the ‘perfect’ shaker card mix of sequins that I bought months ago from ‘Little Things from Lucy’s Cards’. For my card I have combined the bow & fern from Jingle Bells with the Let it Snow & bauble hanger from Labelled Christmas.

I have one last card to share with you today using I LOVE Coffee…

This card was inspired by the current CAS Colours & Sketches challenge seen HERE and below. As you can see it is a sketch challenge. I have been lucky enough to be Guest Designing for CC&S for the month of November & you can see my GD card HERE. Which I really liked, but as you can see I ‘bent’ the rules quite a bit & I didn’t stick to the half circle elements in the sketch (Sorry CC&S).

So this time I did! It turned out to be the perfect sketch to show you the size difference between the Uniko logo flower contained in the I LOVE Coffee set compared to the same flower contained in the previously released Flower Power #3 set.

Another thing I discovered was how the larger outline flower from Flower Power #3 can be ‘joined’ together when stamped to hang over an edge 🙂 I think it helps join the two semi circles and the design to flow. After I had done my focal elements I wanted a sentiment but couldn’t find a suitable placement over the semi circles, so I decided to stamp the sentiment ‘Coffee & Friends make the perfect blend’ on my white CS panel in VersaMark Dazzle Champagne ink.

November 2015 Sneak Peeks Day 2

November 2015 Sneak Peeks Day 1

Hey!

The day is FINALLY here & I can share a couple of sneak peeks from the upcoming November 2015 Release 🙂 I am so excited about this release & more so because it’s nearly Christmas!

Anyway, without further ado let’s get to a couple of peeks…

This first peek is of a fun Christmas essentials clear stamp set. The set features a collection of fun outline & solid images along with some mix & match sentiments. It also coordinates with a previously release Uniko Christmas clear stamp set for even more possibilities!

This second peek is for all you coffee lovers out there & perfect for all your coffee living friends too! Even though it is coffee themed, it would be easy to make it suitable for any hot beverage.
