Coffee & Friends

Happy Weekend!

Today I am super excited to share another feature and Uniko FREE Digital Stamp Download Collection in the NEW issue of Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine, which is now on sale.

This FREE collection of digital stamps features a large Block Party style stamp and two sentiment stamps. They can be downloaded from the Simply Cards & Papercraft website HERE.

The photo above shows a variety of ways the digital stamps can be used and in the magazine I share some Top Tips of using digital stamps šŸ˜‰

I thought I would make one more card to share with you here using the main Block Party Coffee stamp and one of the sentiments.

When I saw the current two week sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch! seen HERE and below, I knew it was perfect to use with these digital stamps!

I use Photoshop when using digital stamps and I always create a document the size of the card I am going to make. My standard size card is 10.5 x 14 cm. I started by placing the ‘Sending You a LATTE Birthday Wishes’ sentiment and copying & pasting it to create a fun border style background as seen in the sketch. This was then printed, cut to size and coloured with Copic Markers.

With using Photoshop, digital stamps are easy to scale up or down to suit your need & use of them. Here I have scaled the Block Party Coffee stamp down to a small rectangle. Again I have coloured with Copic Markers, trimmed to size & layered with some black card before adhering to the card base using foam adhesive.

I hope that you download and enjoy using the FREE digital stamps I have designed. If you use them and share your makes on Social Media, be sure to #unikoltd on your post, so that I can find them easy!

Featured In… Simply Cards & Papercrafts Magazine!

Woohoo!

I’m super excited to pop by this evening & tell you about another little feature I have in a magazine. This time it is with Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine and I have designed some FREE downloadable digital stamps for you to use šŸ™‚

Can you spot a trio of the cards on the lower right of the front cover?!

One trends that is still going strong in the papercraft industry (and others) is the Tropical theme. Currently the focus of the trend is more on the leaves & foliage rather than the tropical blooms. So, I used this, along with my previously released Tropical themed clear stamp sets, Paradise, Paradise Humming Bird & Paradise Leaves to create some digital stamps.

Here is a look at the collection of stamps available for download from Simply Cards & Papercrafts Magazine website HERE.

And here are a couple of the cards I have made using the digital stamps which are featured in the magazine…

On this first card I have used just the FREE digital stamps. I enlarged the background stamp to fill a panel of white card & used my Copic Markers to colour the leaves in. The sentiment is then sized to layer across the background on a separately printed panel & I added some foam adhesive for dimension.

For this second card I used the large tropical leaf background again, but this time I erased the top section of the background. I’ve then added Bob the Toucan from Paradise clear stamps & a Father’s Day sentiment from Simply Said clear stamps.

For all the details & more samples using the FREE digital stamps, be sure to grab yourself a copy of the magazine from the Simply Cards & Papercrafts website or in the UK most leading supermarkets, Hobbycraft & WH Smith stock the magazine.

Please note that these digital stamps are only available to downloadĀ HEREĀ from Simply Cards & Papercrafts website. They are not available for download from Uniko.Ā

Enjoy & thanks for stopping by!

Super FREE Saturday Returns!

Hey!

Yep, those of you who have been following Uniko for a while may remember a feature I had a few years ago called Super FREE Saturday. It was a featured I did roughly every month, where I Ā designed a little digital freebie for you all to use. Some were pre coloured, ready to print and cut others were outline images for you to colour.

Anyway, I thought I would reintroduce the feature and again it will be every other month in between releases. I know it IS release month this month, but we’re celebrating so I couldn’t resist having an ‘extra’ freebie for you all to use šŸ˜‰

This is a is a beautiful design especially for those who like to colour! It is called ‘happy roses’ and is a compilation design from a number of Uniko clear stamp sets, Flower Power #6 and Originally Organic. They pair up beautifully šŸ˜‰

I’ve created a couple of samples to inspire you and show you how they can be used…

Ā This first card both the floral design and sentiment are printed onto white card stock and I have simply coloured the design with Copic Markers. I used a total of 5 markers and just did simple flat colouring.

My next card is again a one layer card. This time I printed the floral design onto Kraft card stock and coloured it in using Prismacolour pencils.

I opted for two shades of yellow, so that the roses would really ‘pop’ against the Kraft card stock. The sentiment is stamped and is also a little sneak at a sentiment from a set we will be introducing on Tuesday šŸ˜‰

I’d LOVE to see what you create using this digital stamp! Tag @unikoltd on Facebook and Instagram.

Or why not create a card and link up to our current Anything Goes Challenge with Optional Twist LoveĀ HEREĀ or we have our 5th Birthday Linky PartyĀ HERE. There are FAB prizes to be won on both these posts šŸ˜‰

Ok, that is all from me today but I will be back tomorrow with more Sneak Peeks to share and MORE!!

Simply click on the link above to get the freebies! The collection contains 4 heart designs and one sentiment cluster design.

Digital stamps are good for using with you Heidi Swapp Minc Machine, which was a good excuse to dust mine off and add some foil shimmer šŸ˜‰

I started by creating a simple polka dot design, which I then foiled with the Heidi Swapp Rose Gold Foil. I adhered this foiled panel to a Stampin’ Up! Bermuda Bay card base. I then printed the heart design (6 x 6cm) and foiled it with some Raspberry Pink foil I had in my stash from Uni. The heart is adhered to the card base using foam adhesive for a little dimension.

That’s all from me, but be sure to hop along the Design Team links below to see the romantic inspiration they have for you. Some of the team have used the Freebie too šŸ™‚

Simply Cards & Papercrafts!

Hey!

Sorry I have been MIA over the past few days, though it seems like weeks as time is just not slowing down. I’ve been hit by the bugs again this past weekend, I think it’s been a combination of playgroups with the beans and working all the hours once they are in bed!

March already, how did that happen?! Though it’s good as it means Spring here in the UK is only a couple of weeks away – YAY!

You may have seen this photo that I shared around social media towards the end of last week…

I was asked by the lovely Aimes (Editor & Chief of Simply Cards & Papercrafts) if I would design a set of free digital stamps and create some projects. How could I refuse that offer?!

I thought I would share a closer look at the feature in the magazine for those who are unable to purchase the magazine. Also because I have yet to find my creative energy this week šŸ™ I’m sure I will at some point as I have some DT stuff to catch up on šŸ˜‰

Anyway, here is the feature…

You might recognise the bunny from the recently released Some Bunny clear stamp set. I had some more fun posing him in a birthday box and with some birthday balloons šŸ˜‰

To download your freebie stamps be sure to visit www.papercraftmagazines.com I’d love to see what you create using them šŸ™‚

Ok, that’s all from me tonight, I think another early night is called for if I am going to shift this bug and annoying cough. I’ll be back later this week with more to share. Until then, thank you for stopping by today.
