Stamp Of The Week – All Occasion Sentiments #3

Welcome back to the NEW feature here at Uniko, Stamp Of The Week (SOTW). This week I am dusting off… All Occasion Sentiments #3

I’m back this week dusting off another clear stamp set that came back in stock recently and one which is a go to sentiment set for those quick CAS cards!

Again todays card is another quick CAS card, with the Easter break over the beans are back at playgroups and now I am full of cold AGAIN 🙁 which has meant not a lot of energy once they are in bed to create 🙁 I’m hoping this one will be short lived!

Anyway, enough of my woes, back card! As you can see I have paired it with the newly released Fun Flowers again.

My colours were based on the new ColourQ challenge colours seen HERE and below. I love the soft Spring like pallet.

A little tip when using the Fun Flowers set it is easier to position and stamp/stack the flowers by starting with the smallest first and working up to the biggest.

April 2016 Reveal, Release & GIVEAWAY!

Hey!

Ok, how about some inspiration, first up I have a card using Celebrate With Cake…

This is such a fun set to do paper piecing with, so that’s what I did 😉 I was also inspired by a new to me challenge (Thanks Lindsey for the heads up about it) called the Sweet Stampin’ Challenge. Their current challenge HERE is paper piecing.

My next card uses Fun Flowers and was inspired by the new TIME OUT Challenge seen HERE and below. This fortnight it is a Home Sweet Home challenge with an inspiration photo.

Normally an inspiration photo like this would stump me, but with the floral type patterns and colours were perfect to translate onto my card.

The flowers are stamp, coloured, fussy cut out and adhered to the side of another of the MFT Peek a Boo die cut frames. The sentiment is from Paradise Hummingbird which will be back in stock in the next week or so along with some other popular clear stamp sets.

Introducing… Fun Flowers

I’m super happy you have stopped by today, as today the Design Team and I are introducing the second of the mini April Release clear stamp sets.

Lets have a look at my card…

Yep, I’m still on that shaker card making roll! This time I couldn’t resist adding some stamped, coloured and punched out tiny daisies to my shaker mix!

The flower on the edge of the shaker frame is a layered flower. I stamped the medium daisy, coloured and fussy cut it out. The top most flower is the tiny daisy stamped and then the small scalloped flower stamped, fussy cut and coloured. I layered the flowers together using DST.

Tomorrow I will be sharing a photo of different combinations of how the stamps in this set can be stamped!

Stamp Of The Week – I LOVE Coffee

I’ve had a really productive day today, with the sun out it sure does inspire me to ‘do’ rather than procrastinate! I had a lovely morning running my class at The Paperlane and it was lovely to see some faces I haven’t seen for a while and of course those who come every month 🙂

Anyway, I had this card idea the other night and tonight I made time to make it…

I was totally inspired by the new sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch! HERE and seen below. The I LOVE COFFEE banner in the set was perfect to create the trio of rectangular elements shown in the sketch.

I still wanted to use and add some of the other stamps contained in the set on my card but keep them subtle, so I randomly stamped the coffee cup and beans onto a Soft Stone CS layer using VersaMark Dazzle Champagne ink. This panel is mounted onto a Smokey Slate card base and the trio of sentiments adhered using foam adhesive.

Short & sweet from me tonight, I have still a few jobs to cross off the list in preparation for the mini April Release! If you didn’t catch my posts HERE and HERE the Uniko Design Team and I have introduced the first product being released today.

Introducing… Celebrate With Cake

I’m super happy you have stopped by today, as today the Design Team and I are introducing the first of the mini April Release clear stamp sets.

Lets have a look at my card…

My starting point for my card was when I saw the current Color Throwdown challenge colours seen HERE and below. I thought they could challenge me (which they did) and also make a cheery celebration card.

My tag card is pretty simple, I stamped the outline cupcake case in VersaMagic Red Magic ink onto the tag and then the solid cupcake top in VersaMagic Aquatic Splash onto a smaller separate piece of white CS and fussy cut it out. I also added the star sprinkles to the cupcake top using SU! Pumpkin Pie ink.

I embellished the tag with some Papertrey Ink Harvest Gold satin ribbon, SU! Aqua Mist Bakers Twine, the sentiment from the set and a trio of tiny rhinestones.

Stamp Of The Week – I LOVE Coffee

Welcome back to the NEW feature here at Uniko, Stamp Of The Week (SOTW). This week I am dusting off… I LOVE Coffee

With my family leaving today to enjoy a couple of nights by the seaside and the beans going to their grandparents for the day I was hoping for a full day of crafting. I did a few cards, but my creative mojo was lacking energy today and I didn’t get as much done as planned.

I did get to make todays SOTW card…

The result something a little out of my normal CAS comfort zone, a little ‘busier’ than normal, but the bright cheery ColourQ challenge colours seen HERE and below were perfect for the rainy and gloomy day we have had.

I treated myself to a new Reverse Confetti die and have been itching to use it since it arrived on Tuesday, hence its use on my card 😉

Stamp Of The Week – I LOVE Coffee

A super quick card and post from me tonight as I have family staying with us for a couple of days, I snuck off to the studio for 20 minutes or so whilst they were watching TV downstairs 😉

We have had a lovely morning out to Butterfly World & Preston Hall Museum a couple of local attractions just down the road, that I have never been to in the 14 years I’ve lived in the area!

So with seeing all the lovely tropical flowers and colourful butterflies, maybe I should have added butterflies to the coffee cup, but instead I went for the mini Uniko flower in the set…

The new ColourQ challenge colours seen HERE and below were perfect for my tropical inspired card.

This time I paired the coffee cup with some colourful SU! Timeless Textures coffee stains and a sentiment from Simply Said Birthday.

Stamp Of The Week – Pure Florals: Cosmos

This is the set the Design Team and I have revisited this month with a blog hop & giveaway HERE, so with it already out and getting some inky love and attention I thought I would give it some more this week.

This is my last card this week using the set, I seem to have lost a couple of days since the restocks arrived and I have been busy preparing the mini April Release too 😉 Anyway, how about my card…

I decided to play along with a couple of challenges for this card. First up the TIME OUT Challenges one HERE, which is to CASE (with your own twist) this beautiful card by Marjan seen below…

I especially like the die cut window Marjan created, but I decided to add my own twist and reverse the window, adding foam adhesive to the die cut square instead of the larger stamped panel.

Along with the die cut detail I was inspired by the trio of colours Marjan used too and replicated those on my card. I added some polka dots too, which is perfect for this weeks “Less Is More” challenge HERE.

Ok, that’s all from me tonight, I’m going to spend a little time with the hubby tonight, we are currently watching the second season of Daredevil and loving it!

Stamp Of The Week – Pure Florals: Cosmos

Hey!

Welcome back to the NEW feature here at Uniko, Stamp Of The Week (SOTW). This week I am dusting off… Pure Florals: Cosmos…

Todays card is inspired by a couple of challenges (no change there then!) First up the layout of my card uses the new Freshly Made Sketches layout seen HERE and below. Another of those sketches that looks and IS fun and I just had to have a go at!

The second challenge was for colours and I LOVE the colours they have chosen at the Color Throwdown HERE and seen below this week, Teal, Aqua and Gold – YUM!

I decided to Gold heat emboss the Cosmos flowers on my trio of squares and after I added the aqua colour to the petals using a Copic marker, quick and simple flat colouring.

Stamp Of The Week – Pure Florals: Cosmos

I seem to be having many a day where everything I want to do either takes me twice as long as originally planned or turns out to be a waste of time!

My card today took me forever to make, the fussy cutting which I normally enjoy seemed to take me forever to do and then I needed some designer paper which I rarely use and had to search high and low for some that suited my card and inspiration photo I was following!

I was inspired by a new to me challenge called Inspired by All the Little Things seen HERE and below. Isn’t that photo inspiring and pretty.

As you can see I kept my card pretty CAS and flat, adhering the flowers and leaves with DST. I added a sentiment from Simply Said and some Wink Of Stella to the flowers for some subtle sparkle.
