November 2016 Reveal, Release & GIVEAWAY!

Hey & Welcome to the Uniko November 2016 Reveal, Release & GIVEAWAY!

As we’ve quite a few new followers here, (“Hello & Thank you”) I will explain what’s going on! Here at Uniko I *USUALLY* only release new products every other month. This is for a number of reasons, firstly, being an avid paper crafter myself and knowing the current economic climate I know ‘some’ are on a limited budget when it comes to buying new stash, so this way you’re not tempted to splurge too much every month.

The second reason is that it is just me here at Uniko HQ. I currently run this little business single handedly, designing, blogging, demoing, classes, packing. Alongside that I am a full time mum to 2 year old twin boys. So releasing every other month gives me chance to keep my head above water, well…just about! However, with having a break over the Summer with releases I wanted to squeeze one last release in before the end of the year!

So I am back today, with the help of the awesome design team to introduce you to the three clear stamp sets available to purchase HERE now!

If you missed any of the product introductions, you can catch up HERE and HERE.

Let’s have a look at the three clear stamp sets…

First up is Christmas Pop, this is a FUN geometric styled Christmas Tree building stamp set. Along with the obvious Christmas theme it is also suitable for other occasions and stylised creations.

Christmas Pop £9 / £9.95 Copyright Uniko Ltd 2016 www.uniko.co.uk

Next we have a mini Christmas Sentiment clear stamp set called Most Wonderful. This set contains two full mixed font sentiments and then a multitude of mix font sentiment building stamps.

Most Wonderful £4 / £4.95 Copyright Uniko Ltd 2016 www.uniko.co.uk

Lastly but by no means least we have a fun addition to the ‘Rustic’ collection! This fun mini set has so many possibilities on its own, but pair it with sentiments and images from Rustic Christmas and Background Builders: Vines and Vines Winter Additions for even MORE possibilities!

Rustic Wreath £4 / £4.95 Copyright Uniko Ltd 2016 www.uniko.co.uk

Now I have done all the formal introductions, how about some more cards using these sets to inspire you…

Nov16ReleaseDay1

{Click Photo to Enlarge}

First up I have used Christmas Pop in a non Christmas way. This set contains some fun geometric triangles and I couldn’t resit using them to create a funky background for a birthday card.

Nov16ReleaseDay1a

{Click Photo to Enlarge}

I used two of the triangles to create my BG and then I coloured sections of the decreasing triangle one using my Stampin’ Up! bright marker collection. I then stamped a sentiment from Simply Said Birthday onto a banner die cut (Project Life) and adhered it to the card using foam adhesive.

Next I decided to go Christmassy, I really need to build up my stash of Christmas cards ready to send out 😉 This time I opted for a reasonably quick CAS card using the outline tree and some Papertrey Ink Bitty Dot Designer Paper.

Nov16ReleaseDay2

{Click Photo to Enlarge}

After fussy cutting the Christmas Trees, which too the longest! I stacked/layered them one on top of the other leaving a small border to create taller elongated tree. The sentiment is from Most Wonderful and I finished the card off with a few sparkly star embellishments.

Nov16ReleaseDay2a

{Click Photo to Enlarge}

My last card for today uses Rustic Wreath. This time I used the wreath to make a garland along the edge of my card. I embellished the garland with a couple of the smaller stamps from the set to fill it out and add interest.

Nov16ReleaseDay3

{Click Photo to Enlarge}

I then stamped the ‘deck the halls’ sentiment in Chocolate Chip ink, to tie in with the berry sprig stamped in the garland. To finish the card off I stamped a cluster of the smaller images from the set to embellish the sentiment as it needed a little something to balance the card out.

Introducing…Christmas Pop and Most Wonderful

YAY!

I’m SO happy that you have stopped by today, as here at Uniko preparations for the November product release are well underway. We have had all the sneak peeks at the 3 clear stamp sets being released and NOW it is time for the Design Team and I to introduce them to you.

Today we are introducing two clear stamp sets called Christmas Pop and Most Wonderful. Both these clear stamp sets can be used individually, but they work perfectly together too 😉

My first card uses just Christmas Pop and the sentiment is from Simply Said Christmas…

IntroChristmasPop2

{Click Photo to Enlarge}

The stamps contained in the set have a multitude of mix and match options. On my card I have used two of the main images from the set. The outline tree and the elongated triangle with horizontal lines. I used my Stampin’ Up! Bright Markers to selectively colour the horizontal lines in a rainbow before stamping and fussy cutting it out.

IntroChristmasPop2a

{Click Photo to Enlarge}

The routine tree is stamped onto a white card layer and the fussy cut tree adhered on top using foam adhesive. I added a good smothering of clear Wink Of Stella to the tree and added a selection of Stampin’ Up! enamel dots to finish the card off.

Next I have combined Christmas Pop with one of the complete ready to stamp sentiments from Most Wonderful…

IntroChristmasPop1

{Click Photo to Enlarge}

I chose to use 3 of the main clear stamps from Christmas Pop and 2 of the accent stamps from the set along with a funky Christmas colour scheme I am seeing a lot at the moment. Shades of Teal/Aqua with Lime Green.

The outline tree stamp I used on my first card is embellished with the 2 accent stamps. It’s hard to see in the photo, but I added a good smothering to the trees on this card too! This time I embellished with pearls from The Hobby House.

Ok, that’s all I have to share with you today, but be sure to hop along the Design Team Blogs (links below) for even more inspiration. I know for a fact you won’t be disappointed, the team have created amazing projects showcasing how this set can be used…

Stamp Of The Week – Rustic Christmas

Hey!

This week I am continuing with Rustic Christmas as my SOTW, I hope you have enjoyed the cards I have shared so far? I thought I might run out of ideas, but luckily my creative mojo has reappeared and the ideas are flowing!

RusticChristmasPP

Today I have a colourful rainbow Christmas card to share. There is nothing like a rainbow of colour to cheer up a frustrating night of silly little problems!

2016SOTW95{click photo for a closer look}

For my card I simply stamped the rustic tree in a variety of bright Stampin’ Up! inks! I then added a white heat embossed sentiment on strip of black card, adhered using foam adhesive and a trio of Stampin’ Up! enamel dots to finish the card off. Super quick again and an easily mass produceable card!

Stamp Of The Week – Rustic Christmas

Hey!

Welcome back, and my apologies for my absence at the end of last week, nothing like a sickness bug to disrupt everything 🙁 I was laid up in bed Thursday and Friday, unable to do anything. Movement was a no no as it made the sickness worse.

Anyway, this week I am continuing with Rustic Christmas as my SOTW…

RusticChristmasPP

Today I have gone for another super CAS card, I think my creative mojo is finally returning!

2016SOTW94{click photo for a closer look}

Again I used the current CAS Colours & Sketches challenge colours seen HERE and below for my card. They are having a DT Call this week and next week, so be sure to check it out and join in!

This time I decided to stamp and emboss the Rustic Tree in Kettle Copper EP on some watercolour paper. I then used my only darker green Zig Clean Colour Brush Marker and simply watercolored over the top. The panel is simply mounted onto a red card base using DST.

I was going to add some twine or thread above the sentiment, but decided I didn’t quite have the right colour, really need some Metallic Copper thread 😉

Stamp Of The Week – Rustic Christmas

Hey!

Welcome back, this week I have chosen Rustic Christmas as my SOTW…

RusticChristmasPP

Today I have gone for a more rustic feel to my card, seeing as that is in the title of this clear stamp set 😉 I was having a look through some of my recent Stampin’ Up! stash and found this lovely kraft CS panel with a clear embossed woodgrain effect…

The tree is stamped in Old Olive with a little accent red Robin. The sentiment is stamped in Soft Suede ink and I added some linen thread & bow from my stash and a cream heart embellishment.

Stamp Of The Week – Rustic Christmas

Hey!

Welcome back, this week I have chosen Rustic Christmas as my SOTW…

RusticChristmasPP

I’m certainly getting into the Christmas spirit and I am really looking forward to the BIG day this year. The beans are going to love it and understand a little bit more and I am sure they will LOVE the presents Santa brings them 😉

Anyway, here is my card for today…

2016SOTW91

{click photo for a closer view}

A classic Christmas Tree card! I’m loving bold stripes at the moment and the papers in the Stampin’ Up! Pop Of Pink DSP collection is a fave of mine at the moment. I am also ‘making’ myself use them instead of just admiring them on the shelf!

2016SOTW91a

{click photo for a closer view}

I added some Papertrey Ink Pure Poppy Satin Ribbon, a bow of SU! Bakers Twine and a few ‘very old’ A Muse star gems! A little more to this card than yesterdays card HERE but still fairly mass produceable but more suitable for the hand delivered cards.

That’s all I have to share today, I will be back tomorrow with more using this set. Don’t forget that the set is discounted HERE for this week only.

Stamp Of The Week – Simply Said Christmas

Hey!

Welcome back to the NEW feature here at Uniko, Stamp Of The Week (I took a little break last week due to the November Release & NEW stamps now available in the shop).

Basically each week I will be choosing a stamp set to dust off & give some inky love to. Though I am open to requests of stamp sets to revisit, so if you have a request either leave a comment or drop me an email. Along with giving the set some love, the featured set is also discounted in store for that week.

This week I am dusting off… Simply Said Christmas

SimplySaidChristmasPP

 This set is a wonderful mini clear stamp set featuring popular Christmas/Holiday sentiments in trendy modern fonts. They are sized so that they can be the focal point of the card with minimal decoration or they can enhance any Christmas/Holiday image in your stamp collection, even those from other popular companies.

Today I am sharing a card which I made for the recent class at The Paperlane…

SOTW18

The purpose of this card was to show how the outline Christmas tree from the NEW Essentially Christmas coordinates with the Christmas trees in Background Builders: Christmas. The Merry Christmas sentiment from Simply Said Christmas was perfect to fill the gap at the bottom of the tag & to ‘ground’ the Christmas tree.

SOTW18a

The tree is decorated with tiny outline circles (a teeny tiny stamp from the Essentially Christmas set) stamped in black ink & coloured with At You Spica pens that have a slight sparkle to them.

Short & sweet from me this afternoon, I have two posts HERE and HERE over on the Uniko Blogger blog! I’ve been a busy bee in the Uniko ‘studio’.

I will be back again tomorrow with more to share using this set combined with other Uniko stamps & possibly some old favourite stamps from other companies 😉 Don’t forget this set is discounted this week HERE in store.

Until tomorrow, thank you for stopping by today.

Stamp Of The Week – Label Love: Christmas

Hey!

Welcome back to the NEW feature here at Uniko, Stamp Of The Week. Basically each week I will be choosing a stamp set to dust off & give some inky love to. Though I am open to requests of stamp sets to revisit, so if you have a request either leave a comment or drop me an email. Along with giving the set some love, the featured set is also discounted in store for that week.

This week I am dusting off… Label Love: Christmas

LabelLoveChristmas

As I missed half of the week last week (due to November Release prep) & I will be using last weeks Stamp Of The Week, Label Love: Thank you BOTH clear stamp sets are available at a discount for this week in store HERE & HERE.

Anyway, on to today’s trio of cards…

SOTW15

Today I wanted to focus on the sentiments & the smaller images in the set to create CAS cards easy to mass produce in a hurry if needed!

Here is a close up of the trios details…

SOTW15a

SOTW15b

SOTW15c

As you can see I kept the stamped colours to a minimum, basically black with a tiny bit of red for the holly leaves & silver for the snowflake. Embellishments were also kept to a minimum using just rhinestones & glitter. I felt that the diagonal striped card provided a contrast to the minimalistic design but only seeing a small border around the stamped panel kept the overall design CAS.

Ok, that’s all from me today, I’m super busy in the home studio this week preparing for the upcoming November Release on the 11th November 🙂 Plus I’m Guest Designing for one of my favourite challenges & Uniko is still sponsoring the ongoing TIME OUT Challenge HERE. All this fun starts on Thursday HERE, I hope to see you!

Until, tomorrow with my next Stamp Of The Week post, thank you for stopping by today.
